The size is perfect, the suspension will articulate more than the body will allow with minimal modifications, and the ride quality is actually better than my 2012 Ram1500 Express! probably was the U-Joint that went first, usually is. the U-Joint is the Fuse Link that blows before other more expensive parts get damaged. How far did you have to drive with it broken? it wore the ears off that stub completely off.
@@TwoFeatherChannel on the trail, about 50 yards... But limping it back to a place where we could get it on a rollback was probably where most of the damage was done... maybe 3-4 miles.
@@Jeep_psychology_101 that's when locking hubs come in handy. I can't find any made for the JL's, I guess all those new electronics wouldn't work with the locking hubs.
@TwoFeatherChannel locking hubs would definitely have minimized the damage... so would keeping a 36mm socket in the trail tool kit, could have easily just removed the axle shaft on the trail and kept on going. Don't know if anyone is still even making aftermarket locking hubs anymore
