My thoughts were always that DDP should aim for the choke on Izzy. He is not the standup fighter Izzy is but perhaps has a more complete skillset for MMA.

Like he makes huge mistakes and doesnt pay for it because of the respect he gets with the bombs and weirdness he does end up landing. Terrible commentary team and lame. Plessis has beaten the best of this era now. And the middlewight divison has lacked elite grapplers for the last 6+ years until recently, so this was expected at some point now.
Probably cause hes had tons of fights and fights multiple times a year. That can wear someone out for sure. Also, as Jose Aldo once said, the more you fight, the more film there is on you and people start to figure you out,making it harder to be successful with the same things you done in the past. Israel is nearing that point. That said, i dont think he looked all that bad, guy was in shape and he was lighting dricus up at points in the fight, forcing dricus to shoot.
