One of the things I rly like about the movie is that not just Mario Luigi or peach but it’s shows everyone using the power up’s like for example donkey Kong using the fire flower that’s never been seen before. Or it probably has and ive just never seen it.
I do think it is good that they split Mario and Luigi up in this movie because outside of the Luigi's Mansion games, we never really get to see Luigi as his own character. Normally he just feels like a slightly different Green version of Mario so I think having them be separated was a great choice. From what I can see in the trailers, it looks like Luigi gets his own unique subplot to really develop him as his own character, rather then being overshadowed by Mario for 90 minutes. I especially like that his plot appears to be much more dark and scary than Mario's because this reflects the differences between the Mario and Luigi games. We will see that while Luigi is not naturally fearless like his brother, he perseveres anyways. I really think we will see Luigi grow from being just Mario's brother at the beginning of the film into his own separate character with his own unique personallity. Then maybe at the end him and Mario will find each other and the crew will defeat Bowser together.
The other reason this "split-up" is good is because it allows for Mario and Peach to spend time with each other and bond. Otherwise it would be very weird for two brothers to go into a new world and go on a quest to save a princess that they don't even know 😂

They did Charlie Day dirty with the thumbnail; that’s the main reason I’d watch this
11:30 seths laugh bro...
I was born in 1981, I still remember when I got the Nintendo for Xmas and I will always carry that happy memory with me.
I saw the movie yesterday and I LOVE IT!
Thank you Fandango for sharing this. Amazing stars there, totally worthit!
Someone has to do a fan art with this cast that shows their transformation with their favorite power ups. Imagine them being in a cat suit (lmao), being in rainbow colors and throwing fire balls while wearing white clothes. (I can't draw sadly)
This line up on this movie looks incredible despite how everyone was complaining about Chris Pratt getting the role. Jack Black as Bowser made sense I can't wait to watch it as a Mario bros gamer back in the day so this will bring back childhood memories from years gone by lol
Woah what a killer line up of actors!
Seth Rogers is just like "whatever, it's a kid's movie"
2:42 DK made *the* laugh!
14:21 Interviewer: “I haven’t seen the film.”
It shows. Fandango, at least have the minimum amount of respect for the cast, and have the interviewer actually see the movie first.
Oh my god Seth Rogen at 13:00 just spacing out XD
Every one of them is endlessly charming and intelligent! ❤ absolutely loved this interview!!!
Chris pratt really wants Nintendo to expand the universe. He’s said it in a few interviews, and it’s endearing
i think he's meant to tease it
Chris sees $$$ in his future if they do.
Everyone’s talking about Jack Black spoiling the commercial we already saw, but no one’s talking about PUNCH-OUT PIZZA??
@Coolest Wario I think they meant that for the commercial, but I think it's pretty likely we'll be seeing the pizzeria early on too, maybe within the first ten minutes or so.
16:38 I really hope Jack has listened to some of Bowser's themes over the years, especially from more recent games - like how much would he love "Bowser's Highway Showdown" from 3D World?!
World Bowser from 3D World as well! When I think of Bowser themes, especially Jack's Bowser, that's the one that comes to mind. That theme lives rent free in my mind
@@Tabbychu sax a boom moment
I’ve always liked the NSMB Wii one.
@@unforeseenidiot2254 the final boss theme? it's great but I'm talking about the more "metal" themes that are especially up Jack's alley
The Bowsers Fury theme is super metal so I'm sure he'd love that
Trying to force these huge emotional questions onto movie stars doing voice acting is hilarious on its own
Can’t lie this cast is goated
props to the interviewer for the very thoughtful closing👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
This is a really good interview. I had so much fun watching it 🎉
WHAT a fantastic group!!! Great show!!
I love that when Charlie started talking about Luigi everybody kinda laughed 😂
when jack said that bowser was like a flaming guy fiery i lost it
10:25
You know, it's extremely hilarious how Universal tried to get Nintendo sued for "stealing" the King Kong IP, and then 40 years later, here they both are working together using those exact same characters.
Growing up with two older brothers, one got to play Mario, one got to play Luigi, I got to watch
Why does Luigi and Bowser have the best actor for this movie
