I think when things are made on a large scale production, sometimes it’s made a little bland and still need a little seasoning to accommodate people who can’t always have a lot of sodium, sugars, etc. But I thank you for a very honest review.
I do know exactly what you’re talking about. There was an aftertaste that was a bit tangy. I realized later that if you used the cream cheese in combination with something else it wasn’t as noticeable.
You didn't season the water with salt that's why you didn't taste good always season your water when it comes to pasta you should probably re review this

I always salt my water. Just didn’t show that part. Been a chef for over 20 years. That’s basics.
I salted mine with LOTS of Kosher salt. And I still felt the same as her. The ravioli, had no flavor.
