2:12 that is normal in China. I've had similar experience while eating in a restaurant in Shanghai. Puzzling thing was there is other garbage bin but guy decided to do it on the one behind us. maybe it is a way to show their affection towards foreigners hahahahaha

Nope. Gutter Oil issues were a thing maybe 15 years ago and big crackdowns happen not really a thing much now. And fake food is just propaganda for the most part it’s not something anyone will really encounter afaik. 👍🏼
