1:53 My Mom was from Reddish. She was a "War Bride", met my father at the Holdsworth Pub when he was there training with the Ist RCR-- beer being an integral part of Canadian Military Training to this day. All I heard about Reddish was that it was a Cotton Mill town, never knew they made locomotives there.
Hi 👋🏻 Mr Train man. Well looks like a busman’s holiday looking round a collection of great old railway locomotives and stock 👍🏻 Enjoy the rest of your vacation 🤩
Hey, I didn't realise you were coming to Australia. Did you get a chance to visit the National Railway Museum in South Australia? It's the best I've visited out here. Also, the Zig Zag railway is awesome and finally open again, and of course, the old Puffing Billy that runs not far from Melbourne where I am. Regardless I hope you enjoyed your visit, unless you're still here, then keep enjoying it. Cheers!
Only enough time to explore the Sydney area 🙁 flying visit so to speak! The wife only allowed me 2 days to do “train” things 😜 We’ll be back to do more down south. Quite fancy doing one of the big trains The Ghan or the Indian Pacific Maybe 🤔
