Most of the spaza shop owners don't consume the food they're selling
Yes they put rat poison ti kill rats ngoba eztolo zabo kunobunuku kugcwal amagundwane bese bakdayisel abantu loko kudla
Yes it's about foreign owned spaza shops nationals don't sugar coat it's about them yes futsek
Please sir do not protect the foreign nations at the expense of south Africas children, why don't you close the shop what you are saying regulart doesn't stop the dying children
What has the government done regarding the report which demonstrated that the deaths were caused by rat poisoning? Most of these foreign nationals sleep in these shops, it’s filthy and lots of clutter. No follow up checks are done by the health inspectors.
It is the matter of foreigner, they ar allowed to makes thier own food.

Thy must just shut down bakithi this health inspector are useless coz thy also check expiry dates of which this guy manufacturer their own product and decide their expiry dates no no just shut down and adult must stop looting thse Somalian shops just shut them down .let them go wth the products coz evn thm thy dont eat wat thy selling
Is this not manslaughter, deliberately selling food that can be harmful. these families must sue the department responsible for checks.
Yes no no refrigeration in spassa shops food in the sun all day mi mi zombie SA
That's very true.
Where are the Inspectors that were supposed to be hired during election times the government said they are hiring "Patrollers" for this. And the parents are also to blame.

How did rat poison get into snacks.People should stop purchasing from these shops.Go buy from normal big shops. So sad about the senseless death of these beautiful kids.😢😢😢😢
It's a big issue what are you doing about it mxxm
I'm not going to expect anything positive from this uncaring government. They are known to present a reactive rather than a preventative strategy against all forms of crime. They will attend to this issue for a few days like they did with the hospitality industries, Are they still visiting the hospitality industries?
why is their no health and safety at spaza's .where is the health inspectors.or is it only citys that need to have papers to operate. Spas is a R900 billion income sure they can afford fridges and electricity legal. And do they pay Tax,s wow so many unemployed could be working for counsels and regulate safety .
Its 8 children, not 5. The spaza shop owner has already opened another spaza shop in Pimville, Soweto, so there are no consequences if anyone was wondering. In a normal country, you arrest the spaza shop owner for murder but as usual, this is South Africa
Is the poison not spaza shop
YOU NOT LEGALLY ALLOWED TO PUT POISON NEAR FOOD.
I don't think this journalist is on the same page. 😂😂😂
No no thi is done purposely, the snake is still sild, how the cats can open a snake and close it again? The problem is with the government
