My father Passed away due to coronavirus last month. Inna lillahi wa Inna lillayhi rajioon. May Allah grant him jannatul firdaus. Ameen. We were very casual about this covid pandemic. Didn't take enough precautions. Everything happens according to Allah's will I believe that and nothing can stop it from happening if it's in the qadr but what cause me immense grief and regret is that I didn't take care of my father in these critical times as I was supposed to due to my ignorance and casual behaviour. I may get hate for this but this was for me the best Eid ever Normally before during and after Eid it’s cook clean serving and obey night before and during Eid everyone that Walks in and out of the house All 30 days of Ramadan I was in the kitchen obliged to help both meals! On top of constant cleaning Eid and Ramadan food shopping was at my expense Finally felt my house was a home a day which I could enjoy. My house (Parents home) is pretty much an homeless shelter for the world day and night constant visitors looking for freebies. All 30 days of Ramadan I was in the kitchen obliged to help both meals!
On top of constant cleaning
Eid and Ramadan food shopping was at my expense
Finally felt my house was a home a day which I could enjoy.
My house (Parents home) is pretty much an homeless shelter for the world day and night constant visitors looking for freebies.
Greedy selfish inconsiderate people
Wear a new outfit to end up back in the kitchen
I find Eid depressing and especially get sad when it Ramadan
The enjoyment was taken away and it’s become one never ending chore
Thanks to this virus I was actually happy I felt equal like everyone else

Zayd ibn Thabit reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever makes the world his most important matter, Allah will confound his affairs and make poverty appear before his eyes and he will not get anything from the world but what has been decreed for him. Whoever makes the Hereafter his most important matter, Allah will settle his affairs and make him content in his heart and the world will come to him although he does not want it.”

according to which the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:
What do you regard as martyrdom?” They said: Being killed for the sake of Allaah. The Messenger of Allaah (S) said: “Martyrdom is seven things besides being killed for the sake of Allaah. The one who dies of the plague is a martyr, the one who drowns is a martyr, the one who dies of pleurisy is a martyr, the one who dies of a stomach disease is a martyr, the one who is burned to death is a martyr, the one who dies beneath a collapsed building is a martyr, and the woman who dies in pregnancy is a martyr.”
Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood.
