I listen to this almost every morning. Brings tears to my eyes every time. "We long for Heaven and His return." Wow. Whoever put these words to this music...Wow.

I first heard this at our church in Oklahoma. This is good, but three amateurs, average guys from a small town, blew me away.
Always brings tears to my eyes when I hear this. I wish it got more attention.

I am typically not a fan of worship for God set to secular music. But this is so beautiful and the lighting so effectively choregraphed. The "prophets" declaring the message to "those who sit in darkness" and the "believing" chorus of voices with the musicians creating a unified symphony as light fills the room. This is magnificently executed. Even a very few minor imperfections communicate to me that God is glorified and pleased when we offer praise.
Heaven is grand. How I long that none would miss it. Jesus said, "You must be born again."
I beg you, do not live a spiritually condemned life when God freely offers you Himself: deep friendship that never ends with the one who loves you enough to die for you. "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?" John 11:25-26
    (Is 9:2/Mat 4:16; Rev 5:7-14; Eph 5:8-10; 2 Cor 4:7; Rev 21; Jn 3:5-6; Heb 13:5; Jn 15:15; 1 Pet 3:12; Jn 3:16-18)

Perhaps what we need to do is not give glory to the secular world . . . but rather all glory, honor, power, and praise belongs to the Lord as HE is the author of everything! Many of our early hymns were set to bar tunes so that the illiterate masses could sing along to the glory of God. So rather than not being a fan of songs which worship God set to secular music . . . we can learn to praise the Lord unrestrained by our preconceptions and rejoice in the beauty of any song that brings glory and honor to God. Just a thought. It all belongs to Him anyway . . . :) Trash or treasure, just something to think about!!!! (PS--I didn't know the original song at all, so hearing this just blessed me from the top of my head to the soles of my feet . . . I was a weeping praising blob by the end. LOL . . . This surpasses anything I have since googled by secular performers of the original song. This has all of the beauty of the original orchestration coupled with the glorious message of the gospel of Jesus Christ!!!!)

Luke 2:11-14 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

Good singing but I'm sorry I just can't see that as a place of worship. That's a concert hall. "Mega churches" and anything even a bit smaller just isn't church to me...

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them (Matthew 18: 20). John the Baptist, a high priest whose divinely appointed task it was to lead worship in the temple, instead chose to minister to the people in the wilderness, He, with the sky for a ceiling, baptized Jesus and led the people in worship. Jesus preached and performed many miracles in the streets, in the homes of the sick, and even in a ship on the sea. Is He not Lord of all the earth and are not our bodies His temples? So we should glorify him wherever we are and whenever we find opportunity.

Sermon on the Mount was not part of a small gathering. God will use any and all venues. He’s not restricted by size.

To produce this kind of sound you have to have a place with great acoustics. If they had sung it in a gymnasium or even an average church, it wouldn't have sounded as good.

@@gewgulkansuhckitt9086 my friend, orthodox churches are often small. very small but their choir is amongst but their own. there’s no guitars, or amplifiers. often no microphones but just the raw talent and beautifully sung hymns and prayers.
