Karl Burgi, a hoof health consultant with the Save Cows Network, presented, “Overlooked strategies for improving hoof health.”
This presentation will look beyond locomotion scoring as a way to identify hoof problems. The use of timed hoof trimming for prevention and documentation of observations to determine follow-up care for individual cows will be discussed.
