As always, you rock. I think the way you teach us painting techniques at a technical level is great, but there's something else I haven't found on other UA-cam channels (or at least not as good): the format. When I watch a video from you about how to paint a model, I know what I will get: timestamps, real advice, and a genuine artistic POV. Contrast + layering = me becoming a better painter than before. Thank you so much.
Aw man thank you so much for this comment, I really really appreciate it! Glad I can help in any way at all and always let me know if you have video requests or questions. Cheers man 🙌
Thank you for this, I've had my tzeentch army languishing in a box as I could never settle on a tzaangor scheme. Just finished up my first unit using this guide and love them. Super quick to do too. Keep up the great content!
Awesome tutorial. Been sitting on a buttload of tzaangors from combat patrol/hexfire boxes, not really satisfied with the tutorials out there. This quick and effective scheme gives me motivation to tackle them on. Keep up the good work!
I'm loving the Tzeentch content so far ironically he's the first demon army I've started expanding on so these are really helpful. The Tzaangor feel intimidating because of how they're posed but it's nice to see that in practice they're easier than they look Great video as always Andy :)
I really want to get into Tzaangors because of the combat patrol in 10th but a DESPISE the blue skin... please show us some alternative colors :) also they are not daemons, they are mutants xx
A full unit will be an absolute looker!
Ye can’t wait to get them done.
Thank you, it helped me a lot to paint mines.
Glad to hear pal.

Loved the result. I'll keep it in reserve for when I finish my Nurgle & Slaanesh bent.
Ha cheers dude.
I'm a complete Juan hidalgo simp. But I love your videos too. Different niche but it works!!!
Cheers pal. Kind words.
Do you reckon Space Wolves grey would work for the paler skin tone??
Just. Wow.
Love it.
To kind pal. Cheers.
Brilliant video! Helped me so much and they look great!
Love to hear that, thanks for letting me know!
as always quality videos. fast and efficient congratulations for your sharing 🇨🇵
Appreciate the kind words pal.

That awesome to read pal. If you have posted them anywhere please tag me I’d love to see them.
@@MediocreHobbies I've finally got round to posting them on my instagram and tagged you.

Great video as always Andy :)
Cheers pal. Yes there not bad at all.
loving your videos. i think Magister on Disc of Tzeentch would be a good compliment to this one.
Not a bad idea at all.
You said the new drukhii violet. I've bought one like 9 months ago, is that considered new or old?
The new pots are only 18ml so the same size pot as the contrast pots. Older once are 24ml
@@MediocreHobbies thank you!
I’ve got 9 of these guys to do and this looks stunning. Will definitely do this. Any chance of doing some flamers?
I wish I have no spare flamers at the moment. Probably be screamers first.
Any info on brushes you use? Im new to the hobby and looking to get something good!
Honestly I use games workshop layer brushes for 99% of my painting. I love them.
@@MediocreHobbies oh wow okay wasn't expecting that! I assume the white handle ones?
Did you spray the model with grey seer after the chaos black or brush it on?
Grey seer is a spray as well!
@@MediocreHobbies not going to lie I would pay to get help in how you get the coverage you get
Fantastic video, how many spray cans do you go through doing these videos? And the effects you produce are stunning! Thanks for the continued content
Thank you so much pal. And yes many many cans lol
Would Magos Purple work as a overall wash?
No a contrast would be to strong and just turn it all purple.
@@MediocreHobbies Saw this too late haha, I have a lot of purple guys now :)
Hi mate, I assume I can use this for the 40k Tzaangors?
Of course!
@@MediocreHobbiesThanks pal! Great stuff :)

just switch out the skin step with whatever your favourite contrast paint colour is! All my tutorials can easily be adapted to suit your own choices!

Tzangors be like: 🥺😥😢😭
Hahhaah
Kinda want to tag a friend who isn't big on painting and see if he wants me to try this on his 40k versions
Oh that’d be a great way to try it out, plus it would help him too…win win!
@@MediocreHobbies I agree. I mean I have a giant pile of shame, but this paint scheme looks fun
your frost heart looks lighter than mine i hope they come out as good as yours did lol
Maybe one of us didn’t shake it enough.
I don't shade well....if that makes sense.
