Still listening to this in 2019, such great, dynamic playing by Colin... loved every second of it. I hope you keep on touring and playing music for a long time, fellow canuck...
Saw Colin in Halifax at Rebecca Cohn Theatre about a month ago now. was the best I have ever seen Colin. Seen him 5 times from Misty Moon Halifax 1992 to Harvest festival Fredericton 2008.
Very nice. I'm not familiar with Morgan Davis, but the song is very strong. It reminds me a little of Robert Cray in the pacing of it. Colin James is a wonderful singer (and player of course).
I wish he'd come by and play an intimate and interactive show for me - @ shredRex5150 - you are so right - he is so under rated - so are so many other great Canadian talents. Lets' just keep sharing !!!
well, I was just wondering what is wrong with a stop in halifax, and please be so kind to line of when youcan come , becauce i study the way you play ,and would like to spend some money to see you in concert, and i would like to think the rest of halifax would to,

My favorite song by Colin, an amazing live version here
Blues artists express from the heart through their fingers making them so humbling and attractive.
Fantastic blues song written by the amazing Morgan Davis.
Such a great guitarist. This is the one that I dig the most. It literally brings tears to my eyes.
Delicious tone on that strat.
Took my son to see Colin in concert...blew him away...not surprised
Morgan Davis cover and a great song. I saw Colin do this song in the mid 1980's at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto when he was starting out. .
AWESOME WORDS! GREAT SONG!! COILN XX
Agreed! He wrote and recorded with SRV, so he's one of the few who has earned the chops to cover him.

Very well put BigKing!
His play style and the emotions he expresses in this song really remind me of BB King. He's like a white, Canadian BB King. :D
Smooooth blues :)
Merci!
Ni video, ni cheveux a la mode, mais c'est fort.
Et plus sexy que la "Sexy Version" 1989.))
Killin it
I never knew Jessie from breaking Bad was so multi talented.

Anyone know what amp he's using here? Is it a deluxe?
AeonKage looks like a Deluxe Reverb...
Why July?
I could just eat him up! Get me a fork. Better make that a spoon so I can get every drop!
Pretty gross...just sayin'
This is a Morgan Davis tune
fuckin right
really great job, but terrible camara angles c/w toooo close closeups
Absolutely nasty, love it
A few easy changes, I would play this steady. until my sons said `` really?"
I would like to hear Colin James and Michael Buble sing "Simple Melody" as a duet, I think it would be great.

I practice, but it is taking quite long. Be in my 60's soon enough and my hair is leaving far too quick to have a rock career.
nuthin's too late mate... look at ZZTop, they look shit noone cares! :D
