Nice, what kind of cables are you using at the alternator charger end? XT150 doesn't seem to be a standard (or at least what Ecoflow calls XT150 seems to be proprietary).
I have a 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid . I just hooked up a XT60 right straight to the 12 V battery and plugged it into my Delta pro two and I’m only getting about 180 W just straight into the battery.
Alternator will charge the starter battery, increasing the voltage. Nothing special happens other than normal operation and possibly slightly more load on the alternator /fuel consumption depending on watt output.

If you connect the third pin to the ground it will not limit you at 8amps and you should get the full 500 watt charging
Two questions, please…
1) Would this work with the original Ecoflow Delta 1300?
2) Do you have a full video explains how to do this?
