Its fun to watch your techniques evolve as you get more repetitions my friend.. We all evolve our techniques .. In the end, being able to flex back and forth between techniques is key depending on conditions.. Its good to see you practicing Short/Long roll, 3 point, and 2 pointers. Then spot landings come more naturally.. We all need to spot land for mountain flying. Lookin forward to hosting you at the midwest skunkworks.GooseF16
Nice landings with a tailwheel. I’m a new pilot less than 200hrs and I want to get an A-1B. Would you tell me how much the annual cost and how long it took? If you needed parts were they readily available? Did you have any issues finding a mechanic to do the annual? If you took long x-country trips are you satisfied with the performance and comfort? How tall are you? Do you think I would have a problem with a dog in the back seat? Thanks in advanced for your answers.
I love the Husky. The annuals are generally around $2000-$3000. Yes lots of qualified mechanics who know this plane specifically. I’ll often fly it at 9500 feet and show 140+ knots of ground speed, so I can’t argue with that. We have flown to Michigan Oshkosh a couple times we’re going to Sun and fun. I am to Cirrus for years which was all about getting there the Husky is all about enjoyment.
WOW what a great Stick & Rudder pilot
Thank you! Getting there!

Sorry and one of our husky buds has a dog in the baggage compartment he made a specific area for his dog and he doesn’t fly anywhere without Rutter.
Generally what speed on shot final? What's your technique now?
64 over the numbers. Trim back and Tailwheel low then pull tail wheel to the ground. In any wind condition. Love it.
