this guy owns Rick..it was funny though

“We’ll wait just a minute”
Rick off screen: “ I’ve been fooled by this scheme before but NOT again!”
Rick forgot to realize that he was negotiating with someone that obviously has money and not desperate so he wasn’t going to settle for his cheap offers. Good job sir for standing your ground👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
RICK WAS ALWAYS A LOW BALL OFFER MORON GLAD I NEVER WENT TO ONE OF HIS STORES
He only kept the car because he realized it was too nice of a car to get rid of since he didn't drive it around for fun enough yet. He obviously had money like you said, so he could've afford to take Rick's offer if he wanted to.

He doesn’t even try with them either he knows he can’t scam some people 😛
Well that’s kinda exactly what pawn shops are for. Selling items for a fraction of the their real value, because you desperately need quick cash.
If Rick pays full retail price, his business will fail. He's not low-balling. But many customers try to high-ball, asking 5, 10, even 40X what their item is worth.

He might be the most coolest owner that i've seen in this show
That’s cause the car was never for sale lol there’s no way a collector would ask for $80k when I’m sure he spent about $80k from the prior owner. I think he just wanted to show it off before it puts it in an auction. Now he has footage of the car inside and out plus footage of it being driven on television.
@@SRT_DRE Yeah mutually beneficial. He gets advertising, and the show gets content. But I could absolutely see someone selling an 80K car for what they paid for it. Collecting doesn't necessarily mean that they try to make money off it. It's just a hobby to own a nice car. Dude looks rich and has a big house, but his garage probably can only hold so many vehicles. He's owned it for 2 years, got to drive it, got to show it off. Most people lose money selling their cars.
Honestly I usually side with the offers Rick has, but honestly that dude is a car collector and he knew EXACTLY what he had and what he wanted. I respect that

He bought it 2 years prior from the real collector.
He didn't buy it for 70k.... In this mint condition. I'm so glad the guy didn't take Rick's usually dodgy low ball offer
fwiw these arent the most sought after, i would say these sell for around 80-100k now so i can kind of see why rick would offer 63.... there are annual services that need to be done, these things are known to break randomly, if it took him a few months to sell he could very well have to put another 5-10k into it.

He should've bought it, those things have appreciated like crazy.
SuperSaiyan3985 Ya but when you're in this business you're looking to sell asap because being in the red for such a large amount is bad for long periods
Kekmaster, it depends on the car and your business. Obviously Rick is not a car dealer. If a mechanical and body PPI checks out and all the service is up to date, buy it and enjoy it for 500 miles for a year and with this model right now sell it in a year for a profit even at the seller's ask. 308qv values are shooting up fast. Cars should never been seen as investments, but for a guy like him that claims to be a car guy this is a smart by for sure at the asking price. That said, proof this shit is fake is NO ONE is going to buy this car on just a test drive, you have to get a PPI for cars like this, this isn't a late model Honda lol.
Wtf are y’all saying? These cars are all still selling for less than $100k they haven’t doubled for shit

With only 26 miles on it, it hurt watching them drive it.
27 or 28 now that Rick drove it.
Ollie Warren - Obviously he meant 26,000.🙄
Millennials really are stupid.
Cars like these are SUPER common to have nearly 0 miles , many have sold with 8-12 miles , even lower on some models , the buyers use as investment and that’s why there in great shape and nearly no miles a lot of the time
Pause at 1:23. It has almost 28,000. I'm not sure why they said that.
When someone says a number for car mileage they always mean that number in the thousands. So 26 is 26,000. If it really was just 26 then he would've specified that it really was just 26 because default you go that number x 1000.
I love it because the guy stood his ground he knew what it was worth and Rick always low balls.
"You change your mind you let me know." Rick paused for a second like, hey that's my line.

Rick can be so cheap always walks away over 5grand lol
Check your math. Max offer from Rick = $63k. Lowest price seller is willing to take is $70k. That's a difference of $7k not $5k. Open mouth. Insert foot.
kgm There is a big difference between collecting cars and selling cars. That $75K was just an estimate; Rick is a business man, so he has to give himself some cushion with the price. Side point; If I owned that car and was trying to sell it, the last place I would take it to would be a pawn shop. The owner wanted to get on television.
Thats all he can offer he’s taking all the risk.
cosmic kaboom Of them on sale in the US there’s only 2 right now. Both are listed above 100,000 on autotrader. Plus old Ferrari’s add about 20K in value every 10 years
Do you often pay 7 thousand extra dollars when you buy things?

Eric Guyer exactly
This negotiation doesn't make sense. It's obvious rick wanted it for himself, he even says so, and the seller lowers from $80k to $70 just to make the deal work but noooo, rick just stays at $63. If you are him and really want it and are in that buying range, the gap between 63 and 70 is not much. He just needs to always try to win with a lower price. In this case, he chose poorly. No hindsight whatsover. That particular car was 💰in the bank. Look at their prices today, 2018, for that model, color, mileage and pristine condition...
That guys house was amazing!
Guy did a good Job keeping it 👍🏼

It was too high, when dealing with classic cars you must never get tempted to pay the future appreciation to the previous owner. You pay only what its worth today, not what it will be worth in 5 years.
@@pflaffik - That's 100% incorrect. That's why it's called an INVESTMENT. Car collectors more often then not, sell their cars to buy different ones. Do you think they buy on Monday and sell on Tuesday? No. They wait some years and then when the value is much higher they sell.
