I will never understand why they don't put the handle to crank the blade up or down in front under the table. To have it in the back on top of the saw post makes no sense to me.

Hello Kris, thank you for your comment. We have another crosscut, the " Wadkin Bursgreen WB 450Xand 500X Up cut Crosscut 100mm Capacity" that the saw is under the table and come up to cut the wood. Direct drive removes backlash so that 1 crank equals 1/16 inch and not "about 1/16 inchx
