Easy if you have all the tools yeah. Just like it's Easy for me to fabricate an entire flatbed for my truck...because I have a mobile workshop that cost more than the truck it's mounted to.
@@bigyessuccess4525 My point is that it's EASY for the video creator who has all those card-making tools, just like it's easy for me to make something most people can't...because I have all the tools.
It's called embossing powder. It comes in many colours, styles and 3 thicknesses 😂 that being said a clear will go over any pigment ink and make it glossy. For details like this you want fine or regular. The ultra thick is for large projects and doesn't pick up fine detail very well.
@@artycraftyalchemy Cool, thank you so much for the info! Does it naturally adhere directly to the wet ink or do you need to add some kind of adhesive first?
@@secretforreddit It will naturally adhere to Pigment inks but not most dye inks. You can also buy a clear embossing ink pad, it is a very sticky pad and the embossing powder adheres to this very well. There are many techniques using embossing powders but if you have pigment ink pads and clear it's a great way to start. Oh and don't forget a heat tool to heat it up and turn it from powder to the glossy goodness! If you have regular due inks and a stamp platform you can stamp in dye ink first, clean the stamp and then with the embossing pad (I still find the versamark brand one the best I've tried but there are others that are good, I just haven't tried them yet) restamp in the same place then add the powder. The most useful colours are clear, black, white and Metallica like gold, silver etc. It all really depends on what you already have and where you want to start! I have a FB page with this name if you would like to ask more shoot me a message on there 😊
I use versamark pad or marker. The veramark marker is great if you want to draw your own design. Once you stamp your image onto the paper using versamark or draw your image with the versamark marker, then add your embosding powder and heat with the heating tool that looks like a blow dryer. It is easy and inexpensive if you pick a few colors of powder. I have clear, white, black, and gold.
Easy for the rare breed of human that simultaniously has all the art supplies you could ever need and keeps then organized enough to not explode every time they try to find a pen.
The time it consumes is literally long. In that time I could make a folding card. And when u are giving to card someone. Do make it handmade. It's make special 😊
One of my saddest core memories is going to a card making party with my mom. The lady putting it on knew me and my mom and we were having a great time I really enjoyed the process and considered placing an order for some of the stamps to explore the hobby. Until this lady looked right at me and said, “don’t buy anything unless you plan to commit.” And gave me this eat shit look. I got extremely uncomfortable and after the food was served, I went out to the car and waited for my mom. She asked me what I thought about card making and I just shrugged and said, “it’s cool, but I don’t think I’m good enough to do it.” She looked at me shocked and said “you could probably do it ten times better than her to be honest.” I smiled, but that lady made me feel so bad that I never tried again.
This video is similar to those in which a cook says "we will do these food with only 3 ingredientes" and then they have a table full of different spices and ingredients that "you certainly have at home", what definitely means you will have to buy them via internet in another country in the opposite side of the world

What is the 3d powder you use to make raised designs? It's so cool and I've never seen anything like it! I don't even know what to google to find it.

I would just mess that up even if i had those😂
I would so love to do this. But sooo much money for the materials and supplies. Inks, stampers and embossers etc. Stuff is NOT cheap.
