Best Pa. Deer hunt I've seen by far for 2024. This man nailed it. I'm 72 and thought this was a dying breed of deer hunter in our state. Hats off to young man. Success comes in several forms. You B+C ed it!
Tioga county PA here. 1st and 2nd day this year was the only time we seen deer. Very little movement since. I just sit out now to enjoy our land and spend time with the LORD in peace and quiet. Seeing absolutely no animal movement but they must be having a party in the middle of the night because our woods are full of tracks and they are walking all over our yard. Seen more deer during the daytime during fall archery. Late season now, out 2 times and no deer. Congrats on your engagement.
I can’t help but think of the majesty of what our creator has given us when I’m in the woods like this. So many people don’t get to experience that feeling, though I pray all will have the chance to. Praise be to Jesus Christ now and forever.
@GREGORYGROY you know I pray that people see the glory of HIS creation as I see it when I sit out there. When people see His love in everything, what they see with their very own eyes will make anyone cry tears of happiness and joy. Many times this year the deer have come and just circled my stand. I'm very particular on what I will kill for our freezer, so i just sit there and watch, constantly giving thanks for what I'm seeing. Even after I've shot my food for the year, i cry with tears of joy and thankfulness. I pray that every hunter feels the almighty presence of our Heavenly Father and creator when they are sitting out there patiently waiting for their gift from God to walk by and they give thanks for the meat He just provided.
@@minnamae25 Amen brother. Each twist and turn of a tree is designed by our Heavenly Father, and I too can’t help but become overwhelmed with joyous emotion and awe at the complexity and beauty of His creation. Even the smallest of creatures, from a spider spinning it’s web, to the squirrel scurrying along a log, to the birds of the air singing their songs- all point to a loving and caring God. I thank Him for His gifts to us that we are given bodies to explore what He has created and to reap from His creation. For as He feeds the birds of the air and the squirrels of the logs, so too does He feed us. Both with His word and with His creation. He is truly a loving God.
I feel like late rifle in PA you have to find the thickest and steepest terrain and still hunt. I've sat for multiple seasons late gun and never saw a deer. The orange army turns them nocturnal and they stay put in the thick stuff.
Where in 2G were you hunting? We hunt the Nelson Run area from Rt. 872 up to Wild Boy Rd. And like someone else said, seeing a deer anymore is difficult.
I agree with you, I hunted 3D and 5C this year only saw 1 deer in five outings, worst season ever, I normally see between 30 a season, I think the Pennsylvania deer herds are in decline,to many seasons.
@@christophersobotka4795That and people shoot yearlings and fauns, spikes. 😢 last 2 yrs has been a difficult hunt. We use to get a lot of deer coming out to our fields and now nothing. They only come out in the middle of the night and we're only seeing 3 deer running together. Normally this time of year there was 10-15. I watched a video of people showing their hunt. 3 deer hung. 2 were 2.5 yr olds and one was a faun. They tried saying it was a yearling but they was full of crap. I know a faun when i see one. Let them get older...oh and shoot to freakin coyotes up. I sit out now just hoping to see them but around here we only see them at night on the trail cam.
Great video. Love that you cover the reality of hunting. Keep them coming!

……coming home from 2G Potter County without a deer is almost the norm nowadays. Better luck next year!
A fellow yinzer!

One county with mature forest and everybody from half dozen states equals low deer population!
I hunt 5c I got a nice 8 pointer dec3rd and a button buck opening morning
Hey man. Great video , have you had any issues with the PGC on riding your EBike on public ? It’s a great way to access !!
he will now that he posted this video
No issues at all, e-bikes are legal on all DCNR motorized trails
I always saw getting a deer is just a bonus, great video get some handle bar mitts for your E bike . Love my E bike.
Great hunt. I love hunting in the PA mountains. Also, what kuiu rain gear were you using kutana or Chugach, and how does it hold up to brush?
Chugach. I definitely have poked a few holes in them on barb wire and briers, but for the most part they hold up pretty well
What backpack is that?
That’s a Kuiu 3600
