Met Pete at a bar in Pasadena a couple weekends ago. One of the most genuine, admirable, kind, fun people i’ve had a conversation with. Absolutely kills it on the guitar, keep doing your thing brotha. ❤
As always, thank you for the best and most informative and well produced gear videos on the interwebs! Always a class act and always the best production values, thank you again Mr. Thorn. 🤘
Awe dude I did not want that song to end!!! That run at 1:04 was majestic! Well after your sunday live vid where you were going back and forth with your plexi, I ordered it!!!! I couldn't believe how the same they are! Great job Pete.
Pete, that was one of the best breakdowns I’ve seen of that pedal for sure. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that because I was definitely looking at that. Killer chops buddy! Look forward to more
Great review Pete. I got mine last week - #100 of 250. Love the tones and it can replicate my JVM tones in a heartbeat!!! Keep the reviews coming as I wouldn't have purchased this if I didn't see you mention it a few weeks ago on your Weekly webcast!!!
I love all the bells and whistles on this pedal and that’s one of the best pedal into Daw, IR loader tones I’ve heard to date. looks pretty cool too. Great Dem Peter and happy Holidays
The tone is there but the part lacking is the power section...I am sure more tweaking would get it closer ..kind of like a AXFX or Kemper gets close but that power section just doesn't always come through.....but.....your reviews are always heads above other people's channel...that alone makes tuning in worth it...thanks Pete , have a great rest of the day
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, another amazing demo video from Sir, Pete, Lord of Electric Guitar Demos and player par excellence! The downside of watching his prowess is a severely depreciated bank balance, so be careful and watch your dollars!
Nice sounds, and it's a real preamp too. It is a real cut above the N5 series. I bet Simon McBride had some input into its sound. Totally agree with you that it should be in a slightly bigger enclosure with a more intuitive user interface.
Better camera angle, shows your settings on the pedal, would be ULTRA AWESOME if you could do a close-up camera in like an upper corner window of the screen so we can really see what settings/switches... I'm dreaming. Your vids are already the best, and you get such great tones, while your playing is truly stellar. I am constantly trying to slow down your licks to totally ape them, love your playing and writing. You know I am always waiting for you to get to those Sinverteks. I own the 3 N5/N5+'s and the Scream Honey, great stuff by Wu! Thanks for another great vid!
Sinvertek, This Pedal is Amazing! All that and & so much more,, As Kool as it is, I Also as a Older Musician, would be interested in buying One, I have Big Hands Too! So a Larger Version Would Be So Much Better,,, But what U Managed to put in this Pedal Really Brings it in!! And One of the Brightest Talented Artist Mr PETE THORN! Thanks for the Demo Pete, and TY Sinvertek!?
'You can dial it in to where you think it's exact and then you come back and listen to it the next day and you're like "oh I'm so far off".' You really feel our pain lol. Super cool pedal! Sounds really close to me in all instances, certainly close enough, and I'm listening on decent speakers.
@@kraM1t Usually ear fatigue. Spend too long tweaking something, especially at higher volumes and your ears fatigue and you start to temporarily lose your high end. So then you compensate by adding more. More than 20 minutes will do it. Another main reason is that you can quickly lose your point of reference or objectivity.
After hearing it on the live show Sunday, I preordered one. I love great MIAB pedals. Pete - it would be a nice test of the Blackstar Amped 1 if you ran the MGAT-1 into it for the preamp and switched up some tube emulations plus see if the tube emulations on the Amped 1 actually add some saturation and compression to the MGAT-1 emulations to get that cranked Marshall sound with power tubes working hard.
Aloha Pete, sounds great as always. The tones are pretty accurate. Maybe a little bit to accurate. old Marshall amps have there own personality. Thanks Pete!
l really like the tunes and tone; you're playing, and compositions are so good. The little box has some great sounds hiding in there, the only gripe navigating those tiny buttons and script need a magnifying glass.
Damn I missed the live premiere! I knew you'd throw a video of this doing the different Marshall tones! Haha 🤘🤘 *EDIT* By the way that pedal gets VERY close to the Marshall amps! I want one!
How does it feel to play? I can sense the sag and compression from the amp that I don’t really get from the pedal. But it sound killer indeed! And that opening early VH inspired riff is groovin
So crazy! When listening to the sounds hard left and right they sound different. But straight up they sound the same. I must add that my hearing in my right ear is a little off. Hahaha. It’s more depressing really because it shows the damage. ☹️
Pete, I just ordered one (damn you!! Lol). How do I connect to my PT 15 IR power amp only to run this safely? You said in the video you were running through your PT 100 loop? Help!!! Thx
I know that you are getting paid by the minute, but you could just point out that there are so many knobs and switches that they couldn't put a nekkid cutie on the case. Folks who know Sinvertek will realize that something serious is happening, and will get busy with buying this [limited] unit. 🎸
Oh great. Another pedal so I can sound like I have a Marshall! Pedal prices have gotten so ridiculous lately that you can literally buy a real Marshall - certainly a credible amp clone of a 70's Marshall - for the price of a few of these wannabe pedals. I have five of these Marshall in a box pedals. Take my advice - save your money kids and buy the real thing (or a good clone amp) and learn how to use it. Just look at Pete's rig. He has several real Marshall type amps (including the Suhr). This pedal does sound good though. But then again, everything Pete records sounds good (he's a good guitarist, a good mixer and has become an even better salesman).
Sweet post a review 🙏🤘 Not the biggest lover of the dls but it does a thing and does it well We use it at the end of the gain pedals as a catch all/amp sim To change the sound going into the fender deluxe adds the top bite and cut for live

Everything you play has been not only a joy to listen to but a lesson for me. Thank you 😊

Killer pedal, killer demo, killer explanation! You’re a BEAST! I think I need one.
Pete, the licks you come up with to demo these pedals are absolutely killer!
Dudes a Savage of a Musician
Like to see Pete and Shawn Tubbs have a jam session Hot licks galore
Loved that Morse style lick at the end of the intro song! Always enjoy your videos
Awe dude I did not want that song to end!!! That run at 1:04 was majestic! Well after your sunday live vid where you were going back and forth with your plexi, I ordered it!!!! I couldn't believe how the same they are! Great job Pete.
Very Satriani
Damn. Amazing tones, man! Great demo, as always!
Pete, that was one of the best breakdowns I’ve seen of that pedal for sure. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that because I was definitely looking at that. Killer chops buddy! Look forward to more
Great one Pete. You are an absolute beast on guitar! Thanks for the demo of this great pedal. Happy holidays to you and your family.
Wow love the tone and of course your superb playing!!!! Very solid tone for me!
That pedal sounds glorious

My old 50 watt has been my favorite
Was able to get the N5 MGAT1 and is killer!
This sounds so good it makes me wonder why it hasn't been built into an actual amp.
I love all the bells and whistles on this pedal and that’s one of the best pedal into Daw, IR loader tones I’ve heard to date. looks pretty cool too. Great Dem Peter and happy Holidays
If your videos were 30 min or more I’d still watch all they way through! Love the longer content!:)
Sinvertek has been making killer pedals!
Agreed but they are like $400 for the pedal. Pete doesn't mention that.
@@MarshallAmpMan oh i see i didn't that. back to joyo i guess lol
Thank you for this. I’ve been needing a video user manual since I got mine lol.
What a killer demo...... Pete this is fanfriggintastic 🤘🔥🤘
Now THAT is a cool sounding pedal !!!

@xpetethorn4705 no you don't

Sinvertek make some of the best sounding pedals.
I hope one day you and Phil X can do a video again soon. This pedal gives me anxiety, but it is pretty awesome
Perfect demo for a great/complicated product. Checking price/funds now.
A rack version would definitely be interesting. I have the Marshall JMP-1 rack preamp (which i love), wonder how it would compare.
Nice sounds, and it's a real preamp too. It is a real cut above the N5 series. I bet Simon McBride had some input into its sound. Totally agree with you that it should be in a slightly bigger enclosure with a more intuitive user interface.
Just got my MGAT-1 GE... the interface is baffling.
Swiss army nife for the Marshall sound. Me like. Amazing jam once again . Thanx Pete!

LOVE that Scala! man I wish i'd bought one 5 years ago when I was considering it.
One of the best review videos made. Thanks
Love that intro track! Damn, these are always cool mini tunes. Whatever you're reviewing I'M BUYING!

Great tones. Wonder if they will make a simpler pedal that does just one of classic Marshall amps?
You can plug it in the front of your amp as well. Still sounds great.
I prefer clever over flash...
Clever licks, Pete. Well played.
Thanks for the demo.
that's also a killer riff. last one for PT3 ;-) Sinvertek got some great tracks on your channel...

Why does this happen, one day I'm loving the tone and I come back to it and it sounds poo

Pete - I've bought more pedals watching your videos. Here I go again!
That is definitely a badass pedal!

Pedal was a bit brighter but yes sounds great ! Possibly similar as the PAL 800 #34
Great demo. He should make separates, JCM/JMP only. etc.
Summer song inspired 😉
Sounds amazing 😍
Are you gonna check out the new Diezel VHX? Just finished watching the demo video and it has blown me away!
Aloha Pete, sounds great as always. The tones are pretty accurate. Maybe a little bit to accurate. old Marshall amps have there own personality. Thanks Pete!

Thank u!
Love that riff! kinda reminds me of Crazy From the Heat
Playing like Pete, everything sounds great😂😂😂
Video Awesome!, Pedal Omg' Stellar! Pete' Thank you' Stay Amazing!🎼🎸
The pedal sounds louder so it sounds better to me. Send it to me so I can see if it's the pedal or the player...😀 Great video!
Damn I missed the live premiere! I knew you'd throw a video of this doing the different Marshall tones! Haha 🤘🤘
*EDIT*
By the way that pedal gets VERY close to the Marshall amps! I want one!
Merry Christmas Peter 🎄👍🏻
A Bigger one and add Built-in IR's with XLR outs.
I’ll take the original plus the big version and a MGAT-1 1U rack module 🤤
*Nice pedal with lots of options.*
Sounds killer….have you ever tried the AMT M2 ?
I think you’d dig it…..super versatile.
Man, that topology is hilariously complicated. Sounds awesome though.
The red channel remind me Nuno s tone. Great play as usual
Sounds fantastic!!!
Pete I have looked all over trying to find that light you have. The clear glass globe one behind you. Where can i find one??
IKEA!
@@PeteThorn awesome! Thank you.
Sounds great ! Just wondering what kinda Les Paul is that ?
Great video as usual! 😊
Hey Pete, love the review! Did you try running any boost or ODs in to it? If so, how did it sound?
Thanks Pete!
I've been trying to write to them for months. No response. No access to the product. Looks good though!! Tnx!
How does it feel to play? I can sense the sag and compression from the amp that I don’t really get from the pedal. But it sound killer indeed! And that opening early VH inspired riff is groovin
7:45 yes and YES !

I don't want it... I NEED it! 🤩
Pete, I just ordered one (damn you!! Lol). How do I connect to my PT 15 IR power amp only to run this safely? You said in the video you were running through your PT 100 loop? Help!!! Thx
Hi! When fed with a clean, noiseless guitar signal, does this Sinvertek N5 MGAT-1 pedal have a hissy noise-floor when in ultra-gain mode?
WTF’in Pedal 🤩🤩 greta Pete as usual
Sounds incredible! Can you go from this into the Suhr ACE? Then from there to recording device? Thanks
Yes!
\m/ Nuff said.
Hey Pete
Have you tried Anasounds High Voltage pedal?
Can you put a variac on it?
what does chewy mean in regards to amp sounds? do you mean like chewbacca or chewing food? i dont understand that term
Does it have a switch to quieten my neighbor?
What an epic intro song lol
What is that Les Paul replica you're playing?
Pete Thorn, you are a Bad ass
🙏
Hey Pete is there a gouge on the top edge about a third of the way to the left ?? If so it might be my old 50 watter Let me know Cheers
What's that Les Paul-looking guitar with no selector switch in the upper bout?
Groovy riffs
God... how does all fit in such a small box??? 😅😅😅 Human being can make amazing things
So how much does it really cost to get that preamp sound printed and finished in the box? Using no amps or mic's.
Waiting for someone to make the PiG : A pedal that emulates a 200 watts Marshall Major
It's to the point where it's an automatic like, Pete.
What is that Les Paul copy gtr?? Gotta know. PLEASE RESPOND
Sounds ok
Sweet!
Too many “ Marshall in a box”….pedals out there…your videos are tops tho Pete…It’s just my opinion …love the channel.
f killer riffs dude

How does it compare to the dls from catalinbread?
I ordered one of these and I already have the dirty little secret. I will find out in 5 weeks. I'm anxious to know too.
Sweet post a review 🙏🤘
Not the biggest lover of the dls but it does a thing and does it well
We use it at the end of the gain pedals as a catch all/amp sim
To change the sound going into the fender deluxe adds the top bite and cut for live
