I’m a Black American woman so why would that Nigerian man tell me that? He was telling me something that’s true. I’ve noticed also when I watch Nigerian weddings, and they very beautiful by the way but, the bride’s makeup, her foundation is always very, very light it doesn’t even matches her true complexion. The topic of your video said it all. Why was there a necessity to make such a video? It’s truth in the topic. Colorism and skin bleaching. African women/ Black women are beautiful and no need to bleach.
@Luvlapetite Are using make up as a point sis, they don't wear make all day, plus wedding make is way different from every day make up, we blame make companies for not providing all shades. We all come in different brown shades remember...
Thanks to Mr Simon he spoke very well. A successful marriage needs compatibility, trust and loyalty to work. Older Igbo men show love by providing for and being good fathers, they hardly say "I love you". It's shown in their actions. The younger generation might be more modern/open in their thinking. I think they are able to express their feelings more freely. . Also I think foreign women would like to join their husband's back home if there is security and good infrastructure Thanks sis ❤
Great video! I was definitely concerned with cooking. I can cook, but not Nigerian food. I am however very open to learning and i am also taking tutoring classes to learn Igbo. Lastly i would definitely be open to moving to Nigeria with my husband, however I take care of my elderly mother currently. If that were not the case then i definitely would.
If I’m here in America and my husband wants to go back to Nigeria I will follow him even if the life style is harder because I married him for better or worse. So what ever I have to do do be with my husband and keep him happy I will.
