- This is a problem that our dealer told us that GM knows about but has no timeline for a fix. We need help! Please share video!

Unfortunately the same issue on my 23 Sport ESV as well! (300 miles on it) The 21 Which i just sold, worked perfectly. Same system, really! How is this even possible on a $110k Vehicle? Unacceptable.
Unacceptable is an understatement I am furious
Same issue here on my 2023 Escalade ESV. Hopefully they have a fix by now. Will contact dealer.
Helpful to at least know that it wasn't due to user incompetence!
Did you option your Escalade with the $600 "Heavy-Duty Trailering package?
@@masterchief9005 I did not. have extra options on this one. Just premium luxury trim.

THere is a software fix for this now. I just had it done and they FINALLY work. 2023 Escalade ESV.
Im still checking for updates & my escalade esv is up to date and unfortunately no fix to this issue, sad that such an expensive car like this shouldn't have this enabled.

It can be fixed by software. Just take it in dealer request to get it fixed. I got mine fixed today
The same issue here. In addition to the gridline, the rain sensor wipe also doesn’t work. What about the video recorder? I couldn’t find where to put the SD Card. I dropped it to a dealer yesterday and hopefully they will fix it.
The SD card slot is next to fuse box in trunk area. Facing front, it’s on the drivers side behind grill. Pull grill off and it’s at top right section of fuse area. Only use SD cards that have: 64gb or higher, says (V30) on it, and are formatted to fat 32. Put the SD card into computer after purchase and check format. It may state NTFS format, so choose (quick format) and choose fat 32. Then place chip in vehicle.
Dealers may not assist it this process.
Keep me posted if it works.
I just purchased a 2024 Silverado TrailBoss and my Guide lines don't work.
Something to sue over. A safety issue.

Same here for brand new 2023, also missing the record video app 😢
We had to replace our side mirror because the kids broke the passenger mirror. Now the guidance lines are off. I will need to get the camera system reprogramed as this was the fix for the subject video.
SEND Letter to Cadillac Management telling them you feel they don't care about their customers and you will never buy from them again. Clearly they are not prioritizing the fix.
My 2023 sport platinum camera started failing the same day we took delivery. Sometimes our back up camera works sometimes it doesn’t.
Without guidance lines very hard to park big cars, I am in getting hard time to park which I never felt in Suburban 11& 16 , GM should fix this problem

@@masterchief9005 no. It doesn’t have a trailing package.
@@iffgambetta5319 got it, unfortunately I was hoping a theme would start form on these with this problem with or without the trailering package but it really looks to be completely random. A 23 Escalade at my dealership today without that trailer package like yourself, has working grid lines.
@@iffgambetta5319GM just rolled out a fix for this. Contact your dealer as I believe it's a manual software update on their end.

Super disappointed with our 2023. Besides this issue, our rear carpet is disintegrating at the second row edge right next to both seats. 500 miles, less than 2 months of ownership.

Mine has the same issue and they have sent me the paperwork where Gm has been notified. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. Does anyone have issue with the recorder? After a week I was able to get it formatted correctly but it doesn't record all the time. Does anyone know how to get it to record more consistently?
How did you get to change the format? I have bought 2 SD cards but none seem to work.
You have to format it as FAT32 to get it to work and don’t use a card larger than 64gb. I got mine working but it doesn’t record all the time.

I know the sd card has to say (V30) on it.
64Gb /V30/ Fat32
Buy a 64gb v30 chip, put it in computer as they usually come formatted NTFS standard and you need fat 32.
In computer go to settings/properties. Choose format. Quick format. Drop down f32 and quick format chip. Then try in vehicle.
Recording chip is located next to fuse panel, not under arm rest. Fuse panel is behind back drivers side grill in trunk area.
