Jin Sakai in mainland Japan. I want Ninjas, Samurai clans, ronins and obviously the Mongols. And everyone there heard the rumors of the Ghost , some laugh about it and say it’s all just a mystery/ fantasy stories. Meanwhile wouldn’t mind to have a more lively, crowded game. Can’t wait!

The Mongols only made their way at the shores of Kyushu but were immediately pushed back to the sea by the Shogun army, it was Tsushima and Iki that were brutalized by the second Mongol invasion in retaliation of their first failed invasion

This could be interesting since the mongols did attacks on kyushu and nagato (nagato is on the main island of japan honshu) in the second invasion (kyushu in the first invasion too but nagato only in the second) so it could be possibly if the game heads into the second mongol invasions of japan. samurai clans wouldnt reallywork since theyre all vassals of kamakura and the kamakura shogunate (central governing body)

There’s something very fitting that Jin has thrown away his honour in order to save his uncle, his home and his country, become an outlaw, and when asked to kill the person that personifies everything he did all that for, he discards his chance to regain his honour to save him once again.
The KILL ending is also great, and it’s actually the ending I chose three times in a row (twice by accident, couldn’t remember which one I had already done.

Shinobi’s origin can be traced back to 12th century Japan, so I really hope in the second game there’ll be some sort of compromise between Jin and the Shogun, Hōjō Tokimune. Considered a young and wise ruler who understands the importance of uniting all the daimyos and jitos to fend off the enemies. It’d be really cool if he can make an appearance in the game and authorize Jin to become a shinobi

If you've played Ghost of Tsushima, why would the story and location of the 2nd game even be the same islands or mainlan japan? The last thing the "army of the ghost' was preparing to do, was sailing towards Mongol lands and attack them in their own territory. So if anything, we're going towards China and other locations.

I dont understand why Japan is considered as a place for the sequel to take place. The first took place in northern Kyushu but the end of the game Ghost was planning to set off to attack the main faction of the Mongols on their land more as an offensive attack instead of defensive technique seen in the original. With that plot point it would be taking place in China unless they completely abandon the first ending.

2 needs to let you SKIP cut scenes during your first playthrough if you choose to. I hate when games force you to view cut scenes.
Also more ninja maneuvers, like clinging to walls, hanging onto the ceilings, and a quicker sprint that consumes stamina.
