You forgot the blue dwarf phase. Also Proxima centauri b likely doesn't have an atmosphere since flares would have blasted any away.

pretty sure there's only 3 confirmed around Proxima Centauri (B, C and D). Think there's candidates around Alpha Centauri A and B
@@shaunosmorrison8385 Yes. Only 3 have been confirmed. But considering how exoplanets are detected, theres high possibilities for things to be completely hidden from us, like a planet with and inclined orbit thats not on the transit line of their star and earth. Theres many things that could be missing, and something else, say theres a planet far away like Saturn or Neptune thats just on the other side and would take a while to align.

Proxima B would lose its oceans long before a hundred billion years. Let alone trillions. Its core would cool and it would lose its magnetic field. What happened to Mars will happen to Earth provided enough time passes before the Earth is destroyed. It would be the same with all terrestrial planets, and the solar wind of red dwarf stars is much stronger.
