I worked at a daycare and took care of infants all the way up to Middle School age children. The entire time I had a raging opiate addiction and no one said one word. It was quite obvious at certain points. However that wasn't the reason that I was let go. I was let go because I reported a parent for abuse. So I really feel like there should be a lot more background checks and drug tests and stuff like that going on in the teaching world with our children. However, I know that will weed out a lot of people nowadays. It's like a catch-22 I guess❤
