It took me about 10 years to realize how genius this movie is with its characters and morals. Amy is deaf which means the only people she can understand are those who usr sign language. She didn’t understand the ice cream boy and his mom but she understood their emotions and the bus money. The movie also taught us as kids that anything you do for others will be paid back through. It’s extremely sweet and absolutely one of my favorite LBP films from childhood.
