Idea for bookmas:
You could talk about books that are inspired by a particular Christmas decoration, example, book you're reminded of when you think of candy cane, and so on.

You could do a recommendation video based on the twelve days of christmas song. Like have one book about one theme, and then two books with another common theme, and then three, and so on. It might be hard to find twelve books, so you might want to stop at like six or something. Idk if this made any sense.

You could do an "unboxing" and a keep or unhaul video going through the books at your parents!
I saw this challenge once (not on youtube but I don't remember where) where they did like a secret santa for book characters! So you let someone pick some characters for you and then you have to find the perfect book for those characters and like explain your thought process for picking that book. It's a simple challenge but it might be fun to do!

Combine your love of cooking/baking and reading and attempt to make some christmas goodies mentioned in your favourite books! For example, the chai sugar cookies with eggnog icing that Lara Jean makes in P.S. I Still Love You ☺️

Perhaps an idea for bookmas that you could do is having a whole bunch of scenarios (eg. who would you want as your best friend, who would you fight with) and you have to pick characters from different books to match the scenario.

The only bookmas challenges i can think of are pretty simple:
A book whose cover is red and green
A book whose main character's name is Nick
A book set in the snow/ or a Southern hemisphere book about a summer Xmas
A story about ghost visitations or a retelling of a Christmas tale.
Theyre just some ideas
It's not books, but favourite Christmas movies for a bookmas video. Especially lifetime/hallmark movies 😆

For bookmas challenge, read a book with christmas colours. Your favorite books that is about christmas. Not have a christmas in it but the majority of the book is about christmas. Example a christmast Carol. Harry Potter book dosent count even though they have christmas in it.

Yeah, that barbie movie is called "Barbie and the 12 dancing princesses" and i loved tiny pretty things! It really kinda shocked me at the end. i will probably still read the 2nd one.
I also struggle to listen to audiobooks while I work out. I prefer music to pump me up! I do listen to audiobooks if I go for a stroll, but... not exercise where I have to concentrate on my struggle. :P

I have my Fall book line-up all set and ready, but I have a feeling that midway through my Fall list I will start to want to change it up and read something light and fluffy. So I did myself a favor and threw in a few non-spooky reads and I am super happy with my Fall TBR list now.

I've decided to start one of my Disney's Twisted Tales books today. "Reflection" by Elizabeth Lim, which is the Mulan retelling. I had wanted to continue and finish the Percy Jackson series, but I wasn't in the mood. So I went with a retelling. 🙂
I like the sound of "House of Salt and Sorrows" but I haven't been able to actually locate a copy in my bookstores or library so... And yes, there was a Barbie Movie version of the 12 Dancing Princesses story.
Unfortunately, "Cemetery Boys" isn't out yet in the UK, (I believe) and I also can't find "When we were Magic" either. I think I did find a copy of "Cinderella is Dead" but I didn't pick it up. :(
Ahhhhhh the mulan twisted tale is so good!! Its definetly my favorite twisted tale with "so this is love" which Is the cinderella retelling
