Been driving an EV for like 3 months, I'll stick to my V8s and turbo 6s me thinks
Controls like the Tesla are on the screen, it's annoying as you can only change one persons air temp at the same time and in a lot of new cars things like seat heaters are hidden through multiple menus which is very tedious.
I own the exact same car and you are right on a cold day in the winter with summer tires or winter tires it can't put the power down. But that is not the point either, put a new set of super sport tires on it and drive it when it is really hot outside or on a racetrack and it will not spin the tires not even on launch control. I think your country is to cold man :p

I’ve got the comp - the tyres make a massive difference. Came with PSS and I really didn’t get on with them. Arse was all over the place. p4S (or ps4..? The newer ones) has massively changed that. I just don’t really worry about traction any more.
The m2 is always gonna be the better car but the way things are going now with petrol cars I would just keep the tesla now and plus u will never get bored of the power it always puts a smile on your face and the tourqe in the tesla can't be beaten

Hello, enjoy your content. Especially the networking stuff. I've owned a Model 3 Standard Range Plus for about 3 months now. It is certainly cheap motoring, recent 135mile round trip to Heathrow cost less than a fiver. With 4 days sat in a car park. If you are losing 4% charge a day there is something wrong. Tesla says about 1%, in my experience it is slightly less than that. Sentry Mode does drain the battery, I rarely use it. Do you leave it on all the time?

We helped pull AA how and how ripsaw out of the muck when it lost its track with a Tesla model 3 like yours so there's a lot of torque in those wheels We put a lift kit on it we also put larger tires that have a much more aggressive thread we ripped the bumpers off and welded on new steel tube bumpers that we bent up on the rogue fab. But all in all I hope Elon Musk is rolling around an agony for what we did to the Tesla Is my friends and I truly rednecked it up pretty good
I thought you were driving your new Tesla you're driving your old BMW M2 If you got the all wheel drive version of the Tesla you're gonna have loads of fun even in stock configuration And this is from experience do not try to cross a deep body of water in a Tesla you will short everything out my friends and I did that to the so called redneck Tesla we built so now it's sitting in the sideyard waiting for some parts

I bought mine 2nd hand and it was in a wreck and that's why I bought it there's people around here that knows how to fix teslas and we did it as cheaply as possible like I said never try to drive it through a swamp that's why mine is sitting on the side of the house right now not running because of that

The other thing you can do to get better traction is throw some center blocks in the trunk
it's not driving for free, it costs you to charge it!
If you have solar for your house, it is free. However, I have the long range version and no solar panels and it’s costs roughly $2-$3 in electricity when I drive around 200 miles (I get 320 miles per charge but don’t let it go below 20%)

I would have kept the M2 me, the cost for replacing your batteries in an electric car after so many recharges is probably gonna break the wallet more than running the M2 to be fair. Nothing lasts forever..
That will be like 10-20 years of use he would have long moved onto a new car before the battery needs replacing
He upgrades every 3 years so no need worry about that
'Saving the planet' is a false statement.
If you take a like for like Volvo XC40 and their electric version it'll take 40,000 miles (on a green tariff in the UK, 60,000 on a normal tariff in the UK/EU and 80,000 miles in the rest of the world - these are averages) for the Electric car to pollute less than the petrol one (including fuel)
Average UK driver does 7000 to 8000 miles a year and the average ownership of a car in the UK is 4 years buying a Tesla is not the way. Somewhat sick of EV drivers that spend 100K telling people 'My car is good for the environment' when they would've moved on to a new one in 2/3 years.
Its just about the carbon emissions once the car is built. Everyone knows the ev is a stop gap
@@greg3982 No it isn't, it's the overall impact, the problem in the UK is the huge car leasing market. If it takes 60k miles to become equal on average you'll not hit because of the huge recycle rate of new cars and the massive depletion of batteries over the years to follow.
Stop gap.... not in the next 15 years will there be something else, EVs shouldn't be shoved down people's throat as 'better' when they really aren't just yet.

evs dont make that big of a difference on the power bills. It costs me around $3 a charge at home and i charge around once a week or its $5 to fully charge at the gas station using the fast charger or its free to use the slower chargers.
@@drbass9677 there’s a difference though you charge once a week and probably barely drive it and then there’s people that do hundreds of miles everyday so where it’s costly you barely anything it’ll cost others way way more
@@shagzyy3414 i drive 72 miles to work and back each day and then i run Errands on the weekend. Usually by then end of the week I have 40-50 miles of range left. I dont think the average person does hundreds of miles each day unless you're a truck driver but even if you do its still way cheaper than gas or diesel for the same distance ($21 roughly if you charge everyday each week)

The Tesla is a gadget, the M2 is a proper car.

Sounds like you should try a Volvo with the T8 powertrain, it's like a mix of both. For example, the 2022 V60 T8 does 0-60 in 4,6 seconds, it has 455HP and 709nm of torque. You can get autopilot on it too, and the Bowers and Wilkins sound system you can get is better than literally any other sound system in any car. Because it's a hybrid it's also cheap to drive and you can drive it on fully electric if you want. I also love the look of Volvo wagons and they are really comfy. There's also the V60 Polestar Engineered which is my dream car, it features a sportier look and feel with Brembo brakes and Öhlins suspension
Tesla and bmw garbage Lexus cars are the best to live with it has great reliability and that's what I want reliability bmw unreliable Mercedes Benz unreliable Tesla unreliable.

When you say 60 you're saying 60 km or 60 miles per hour?? Cause you are in a country that uses the metric system which most do here we use the Imperial system so when you say Newton meters of torque that's like speaking klingon to me. How many foot pounds of torque that's something that an American's gonna understand better the Newton meters
