I just switched back to my flip phone this morning. Man was not supposed to live glued to constant entertainment.
I've been deeply considering this route myself
@@jamesbrophy3399 it’s great! I’ve been going back and forth between a flip phone and a smart phone for 4 years. I’m definitely less distracted when I’m on my flip phone, and I rarely miss having a smart phone.
I’m considering also . Google maps so handy tho and camera :/ also WhatsApp is how I communicate with other orthodox in my country
Oh how I miss my old Motorola RAZR
Let's make a flip phone movement 😊
Ἀληθῶς Aνέστη! ☦
Christ is risen. Greetings from Thessaloniki, Greece. Father, i 've got goosebumps every time you are referring to Greek Saints or Mount Athos, or quotes from Holy Scripture such as from Thessalonians, et.c. 🙂🙋🇬🇷🇺🇲🇬🇷🇺🇲🛐✝️
Christ is Risen!❤
Indeed he has risen ❤!
Truly! He is risen!
❤✝ CHRIST IS RISEN ✝❤
❤💪🙏✝ GOD BE WITH US AGAINST EVIL AND TEMPTATIONS ✝🙏⛪🕊
Christ is risen! Thank you, Fr. Josiah and may Fr. Dumitru pray for this sinner.
God Bless, the uplifting Father Josiah
Glory to God ✝️
Thank you Father
Absolute best thing to wake up to this morning thank you thank you thank you
Precisely!!!💯
Father, as much as the web has been destructive, it's been such a great blessing for many! Many became Christian through the web. I became Orthodox through the web. We can so easily communicate with people around the world, which is a great blessing. I live in Canada, and a long time ago, the Roman Church controled all the information that was circulating. No book was allowed to be printed without the approval of the Bishop. The Roman Church had such a great monopoly on information to keep people ignorant and under control. They used fear of hell to prevent anyone from teaching anything outside the Roman doctrines. This pushed society to rebellion and the Roman Church lost its control over society. The bad side of this rebellion is that people abandoned Jesus and his commandments, some became atheists, others turned to Eastern religions (like my dad), but some dare to look into other Christian denominations. We gained freedom of information, which can be both good and bad. I grew up in a Hindu movement and became Roman Catholic through my wife. Now thanks to the internet, we both accepted Orthodoxy.
Do you think that Father Josiah is unaware of these exceptions?
@@backinmyrightmind no, I'm not unaware. I just had to share my greatfulness about the web.
Something tells me father would like metal gear solid 2
Maybe the idea but i think father doesn’t have time for games
@@gubourn yea, art is too wasteful
Truly He is Risen! i was sad when this video ended. i want more! i will go read. thank you Father, please remember the unprofitable servant, Dismas Bailey, in your prayers. i live in Baraboo Wisconsin, where there is not an Orthodox Church in town. i go to Portage, to the ROCOR Mission of our beloved Saint John Maximovitch, and to Madison, to the Ukrainian Orthodox Mission of our beloved Saint Cyril & Saint Methodius. this is done with the help of my beloved friend Clay Zierk, who is an Inquirer, and i have been Blessed to see his journey into the heart of our Most Holy God in Trinity. please keep him in your prayers, if able. dont worry if memory does not serve, i am one who is extremely forgetful, so, i cannot even slightly be upset if you do not remember. thank you again, so much and yes, thanks be to God for all things.
Thank you for sharing Father, He is the Living God through him we have eternal life.
Ευχαριστώ Πατέρ
Beautiful words and so encouraging in our walk with Christ in these dark times. Thank you father. 🙏☦️
Father one day I may come to your Church
We Orthodox welcome everyone! I'm sure the father wouldlove having you worship with him
@@shawnmckenna3288 thank you, I am in a bit of a situation right now, personal. But right when I get the chance trust me I will be on Jesus's feet praying and worshiping him
@@shawnmckenna3288 Thank you brother God Bless
It’s a beautiful parish!
Thank you Father! I needed to hear this. Perfect timing.
Thabk you Father. This video was extremely enlightening. God bless you! Christ is risen! ☦️
Name of All Names hence His highest authority🙂🙏🔥
*nods vehemently in agreement*

Feels a little strange hearing this message while sitting at my computer on UA-cam.... :)
It is ominous for Christian Peoples.

"Words of Eternal Life"
"Eternal" means without beginning and without end. That means regarding anything eternal, we have already always had it and we will always have it. It can't start or stop. Otherwise it wouldn't be eternal.
Ο Χριστος ανασταση, φιλε.
I love reading. It's really sad.
Christ is risen! ❤🙏☦️
Es como si el hombre no ubiese sido creado por Dios, lucha en contra de Dios, el poderoso,el que nos creo y puede acabar con nosotros cuando quiera,
Thank you father for making a good long video. I find that your videos are usually a bit short for me, I’m always wanting more.
God stepped on the tech bros toes and they're shaking their little widdle fists at God. Ha! Imagine that. good luck fighting God
☦️☦️☦️
I've committed so mich blasphemy against the holy spirit I just can't make myself believe in a God but I really want to but for the wrong reasons. I'm so incomprehensibly terrified of death and loneliness. Even if I could make myself truly believe I know I've sinned so much and prayed falsely so much that I'm cut off from God . Maybe he's hardened my heart like the pharaoh idk. Idk why I'm saying this even just venting ig. Love you all
read the Bible bro, you're way off on your understanding of God's grace and salvation. God has grace for you for all you have done, you will find it in his son who gave his life for you on the cross, God bless you and I hope and pray you find peace in Christ.
Go talk to a priest. Stop dumping all your problems on the internet for any person to give you potentially terrible advice.
@@j.b.kingsbury7221 in my experience priests are also human beings who disagree on everything too. I go to the national church they say one thing I go to the non-denominational they say another and the Catholics say differently. Because of that I find the internet to be useful too to talk and ask, as many people here know a lot too.
Go to Orthodox churches and talk to lots of Orthodox priests. They will all tell you very similar things.
@@jsjsjsjs818Go to an Orthodox Church, on a Wednesday or Saturday evening for a Vespers service. Just observe with an open heart, and you will feel God's presence. After the service, when everyone else has left, ask the priest for a few minutes of his time. Orthodoxy is The original church, UNchanged for 2,000 years. There is nothing that you have done that you can't be forgiven of through God's divine mercy. God loves you, and He doesn't want to lose you.
