How did you not break your needle sewing through the webbing you use for the straps? Is that a heavy duty sewing machine?

jack chatham yes it’s heavy duty machine, it look like one of the singer 4411 series.

that's a nice backpack..what kind of thread did you use ?

for the machine sewing I use a standard sewing thread same stuff you would use for sewing clothes. For the leather hand stitching I use a 0.8mm waxed thread.
