Every wittness called was called by democrats.
No wittnesses called by counsel.
All wittnesses questioned by democrats.
No wittnesses cross examined by counsel.

Before you call me a Trumptard I will tell you this goes a lot deeper than Trump.
Democrats knew from the beginning that there was no legal grounds to Impeach the President so they started spreading lies and rumors with the help of the media so they had a pretense to continue the coup that was started 3 years ago.
They knew they had no chance but impeachment was not one of their goals.
Their secondary goal was to damage the President if possible.
That failed miserably.
Their main goal however was to influence the 2020 election within their own party.
Why do you think the impeachment was hurried through then held for over a month till just before the Iowa caucus?
The reason democrats were wanting wittnesses in the Senate instead of the house is guess what? How many Senators are running for President?
Democrats knew if they could get wittnesses in the Senate it would turn into a free for all that would take most of the democratic candidates off the campaign trail for most of the year.
That would stack the odds in the favor of Joe Biden.
I seem to remember Hillary Clinton and the DNC pulling a simular stunt on Sanders before the nomination for the 2016 election.
The point of the story is that the democratic party is rotten to the core.
That is what caused me to change my status from independent to republican.
The only way the democratic party that we used to love can regain its honor is to ditch every politician in the party and start fresh.
As it stands now republicans are the lesser of two evils.
