Got my first order of switches in today. Just wanted to say thank you to Milktooth for creating the store, It has a wide inventory of switches to choose from, the prices are fair, and the shipping was fast. It's also nice being able to order them in 10 count increments instead of 30+ counts.
definitely think that neo lavenders are absolutely slept on. hand lubed and filmed lavenders are some of the best switches i've ever tried, both traditional and HE
I found my batch of sticky rice switches to be completely unusable due to the fact that they were so rough. I have never experienced a worse switch feel. Very sticky at the top of the switch which is a truly bad design for hall effect because it does not allow for 2mm key press and pretty much forces you to bottom out. I wonder if I just got bad batch or if I should try lubricating them myself to make them smoother. They do sound great. Much better than the green lekkers.
I have Magnetos on my 60HE+, and they sound much punchier in real life than on microphone. I've tried recording them myself, and same problem as your vid. They are incredible to use, and in person the sound is awesome
Any chance you could do a sound test for the everglide rice pudding? I cannot find a single sound sample online. All the description says is that it's deeper than the sticky rice with an emphasis on thock
how new are the Sticky Rice V2? I ordered some a few month ago and I think they were from the initial batch cuz they had lots of issues with the magnets which was a shame cuz I really liked how they sound
Currently there are silent options but neither are great. There’s the Silent Phoenixes by Gamakay, manufactured by Yiqian which are quiet but also feel and sound a bit scratchy and aren’t available separately. Then Gateron’s Gently Silent which aren’t remotely silent at all. 😂
Keep in mind, that the Jade Pro are terrible for RGB for many colors due to the colored housing! They are marginally better feeling-wise then the original Jades. And sadly the Jade Max have a design flaw making them scratchy. Those would be great RGB wise. Also Geon RAW HE is considered best (smoothness) by a multitude of people and not mentioned here.
I have jade pro, after some testing; pink (r=255 g=0 b=255 look like r=91 g=0 b=255) and yellow (r255 g225 b0 look like r=180 g=255 g=0) only legends backlight spot is 100% correct) but other colors are mostly little darken than switch with white botom and translucent top. I don't have more switches to compare, and don't use yellow backlight or 100% brightens so for me it's not a problem. But it's may be important for someone else.
-I would love to buy Sticky Rice switches but I can't seem to find them in the EU. Shipping and Duties make it much more expensive especially if it is as it is often delivered by DHL, because they just slap you with a 15 Euro fee when it goes through customs.- Edit #1: Oh, well just bought it off your website because of the sale. Let's hope the 1-6 weeks option is closer to the one than the six 😅 Edit #2: Switches arrived today with the mail. No fees, no DHL annoyance, very reasonable shipping time (2 weeks) and price to Germany. Very pleasant experience 👍
I see that in your website you have listed the everglide rice pudding switches, may i know the difference between the sound and feel of these vs the sticky rice? There's virtually no one talking about these rice pudding switches at the time.
Great video, thank you. I was surprised to see quite a few S switches in your spreadsheet. I currently have the Meletrix BOOG75 and was under the impression that there are no other switch options for it available but, if I understand correctly, your spreadsheet says there are. Would the Jade E Min work and would you consider it a good upgrade over the stock switches (I believe they are KS-37B)?
@@milktoothnu Thank you for this information. I hope someone will make a sound test of the Jade Mini E in the Boog75 compared to the stock switches. Maybe other compatible switches too. I would love to upgrade the sound of that keyboard.

Those sticky rices are soooo smooth. Thank you for the video!
I do wonder how the geon's he switch stacks up to this. And maybe their "pingless" he spring.
raws clear
Sticky rice sound awesome. Great video and suggestions!
The quality of your videos always amazes me. You're a great resource with great prices. Thank you
Gotta love those sticky rice switches! I really like the sound comparison at the end. Well done.
All of the switch sound like Mr Crab walking
Yeah, i have a Wooting 80HE and all the switches so far are too clacky. Still waiting for some really different sounding switches.

I am waiting for silent hall-effect switches.
Nice vid mate
gotta love when the purple head bottoms out

please do another video comparing all hall effect switches!

Shorted out my custom wooting, looks like I'll have to build another with those Everglides sheesh

amazing video, thank you
@milktoothnu Love your videos! Are you going to Test Geon RAW HE (40g/50g/60) and also TTC Magneto POM version?
I think the Sticky Rices have the potential to sound the best out of all these switches if you lube them a bit more
how new are the Sticky Rice V2? I ordered some a few month ago and I think they were from the initial batch cuz they had lots of issues with the magnets which was a shame cuz I really liked how they sound
V2s have been out for a few months now iirc
I wonder if silent or silence focused switches are in the cards anytime soon

I was looking forward to TTC making a decent silent HE switch
@StephenMcGregor1986 agreed (sent from my silent frozen v2s)
THIS
what do you think about the Gateron Double-Rail Magnetic Switches?
My go to switch store
What do you think about jade pro vs jade normal? Can you compare both?

would love to see a video of more HE switches
The Sticky Rices sound amazing.

We'll be making a video about them shortly!
Original Wooting didn't sound good, but I kinda love the way these new HE switches sound. They have a very "knocky" sound.
Any plans to get the TTC Magneto RGB?
We'll look into those
what is the
best non hall effect switch for gaming that is thocky sounding?
when will a creamy switch be available?
It would be the sticky rice for me, dang man nice.

Jade Mini E works on Boog75. Haven't used it myself however

TRY TTC URANUS STANDARD SWITCH !!!! ITS AMAZING
But we are a lot looking for a silent HE switch...
Have anyone tried to mod an HE keyboard ? I'm considering doing the PE and Tape mod, but am afraid of damaging the keyboard
Hello new to the channel great content by the way
Just have one question what are those arabic keycaps that you use ?
It's HammerWorks CRP Arabic
Awesome quality as always, been waiting for more HE-Switch content. Anyone here know if these are compatible with the Akko HE Keyboards?
These are not
@milktoothnu Okay thanks!
TY 😊
No geonworks raptor or raw he? Is this a joke?
Both extremely mid/outdated
@Dubulcle they are way better than jades 💀
@@Dubulcle they’re only not showing them because they dont sell them
Have you seen the mad lion 60he, Its a wooting clone around 30$.
