Shailashri was the famous actress in kannada cinema during late 60s to early 70s. She begun her carrier with a small role in Sandhya Raga released in 1966. Later she acted as a heroine, supporting actress and vamp roles. She played the female lead roles alongside Dr.Rajkumar, Uday Kumar, Rajesh, Sudarshan,Srinath etc.
