I never thought about using a different vocal synth on harmony to elevate the vocals on the main vocal synth, that could be really sick For defoko specifically it makes her pronunciation more clear and she also just sounds great with Miku
I was listening to this while playing video games. When I heard the pre-chorus I had to switch tabs to confirm what I was hearing. I even closed the game to absorb myself in this Da-Vinci level masterpiece. I was in disbelief that you were even using Defoko for some parts. Definitely make more covers using Queen Uta. Or don’t, I can’t tell you what to do. But you should totally consider it.
This cover is STUNNING!! There’s no syllable delay, Defoko sounds clear and smooth, and it still genuinely impresses me how a voicebank that originated from text-to-speech can sound this amazing. 200/10. 💜
i actually didn’t! i exported the raw UTAU audio renders, mixed it in my audio program of choice, screen-recorded UTAU, & synced the video up to the finished audio while editing :)
