Typical Ork’s reaction to most Imperial vehicles: “NOT NEARLEE ENUFF DAKKA! NEEDZ MOAR!!” Typical Ork’s reaction to Baneblade: “STILL NOT ENUFF DAKKA...BUT ITZ A ZOGGIN’ GOOD START!”
Ork boy sees a regular Baneblade "DAMN BOYS ITS A BANEBLADE, A BIT DAKKA" Ork boy sees a red and black Baneblade with an one eyed old man standing on it "RUN FOR YOUR LIFE BOYS IT'S YARRICK!!!"
I’m a fan of the Imperial Guard always have been, Traitors and Xenos laugh at us squishy meat bags, until a Baneblade rolls up and murders everything not wearing the Aquila
I love the tank as well. I have the shadowswords magnetized so I can just pick a variation but I used to run a titan killer formation of 2 baneblades and 3 shadowswords. It was like a bubble of nope that only a heirophant, revenant, reaver or warlord had a chance of survival.
I think bridges & roads in the grim dark 40k must be made out of some bloody strong stuff for this thing to go over them, though I feel sorry for the ministorum who has to do road repair's after the battle...look Bob another arm....just add it to the pile adept.
5:14 The Horus Heresy novel "Know No Fear" describes an Ultramarines ship spilling it's cargo of at least a dozen Baneblades on the the surface of Calth as it crashed. If I remember correctly. So it seems to me that there were indeed whole divisions of Baneblades during the Great Crusade, at least with the Ultramarines Legion.

While it's ridiculous to think something that weighs 316 tonnes could ever be considered a scout tank, it does give pause for thought when you consider the Warhound scout titan weighs 410 tonnes. Mind you the Warhound is also much faster than the Baneblade but still.
It wasn't really a scout tank though. The whole scout/light tank thing was just a meme newer fans heard somewhere and thought was actually real. No actual lore actually supports that claim.
Came for the meme... Was not disappointed. You'd think Captain Diomides would make the mechanicum build drop pods big enough to perform a STEEL RAIN of BAAAAANNNNEEE BLAAAAAAADDDEE!
Commissar Yarraick will you have extra cheese with your burger!? No, just the fries and the shake! Understood sir! Macha, you have to eat something, this "starving yourself for attention" is getting out of hand sister! Can I get jumbo menu, please!? Yes, but no ice cream, I just had the seats washed this week! That is acceptable,
Hmm... Baneblade tanks made of necrons necrodermis, 🤔 That would be quite of tough take down with constant regeneration and tough necrodermish material
Great video grim. Quick question will you be covering the sokar pattern stormbird? Was watching your videos on terminators and you mentioned the thunder hawk gunship and it reminded me of the sokar stormbird so was wondering if you would be covering it in the future. As always loving the videos one of the best things I like about your channel is your videos have replay value which I find rare among other 40k lore channels so with that keep up the great work.
GrimDark Narrator sweet I look forward to it. I'm really hoping that there is enough lore on the sokar pattern stormbird as the forge world kit looks amazing and I'm really interested in seeing what's behind the history of it in the imperium. Just a shame on the price of the kit saying that I did fork out about £1500 now for my warlord titan model with its shoulder mounts upgraded and one main weapon upgrade so I can't say to much about spending loads on forge world lol
Astartes have superheavy tanks, though they are far less common in the 41st millennium ( as for crunch over fluff, they are mostly used in the 31st millennium during the events before and during the Horus Heresy and the models/rules can be found at forge world.)
They did have their own Baneblade-esque tanks during the Great Crusade/Horus Heresy. There's also the Land Raiders, which are relatively bigger than Baneblades.

The Baneblade for me is probably the most awesome looking tank in any universe the Imperial guard is awesome.
I love the tank as well. I have the shadowswords magnetized so I can just pick a variation but I used to run a titan killer formation of 2 baneblades and 3 shadowswords. It was like a bubble of nope that only a heirophant, revenant, reaver or warlord had a chance of survival.
Oh its Baneblade .................BANEBLAAAAAAADE
Driving past a Panzerkampfwagen Maus Viii....look commander it's so cute can we keep it I promise to walk it & feed it every day.
“That’s a nevative, crewman! Damn silly thing looks like it can’t even make half our speed!”
Drives past the P.1000. Rat tank ..." Well that's is adornable ...
The Baneblade could probably deploy a couple of Panzers from its hold.
GrimDark Narrator It is a BAAANNNEE BLAAAAAADDDE.
Not just some MEHTAHL BAWKES...

i swear, if someone hasnt made a Baneblade remix of the Beyblade intro then i have lost faith in humanity.
It's like an unholy fusion of the Maus, the WW1 Mark tanks, and an Abrams, and I for one can't get enough of 'em. Long live the BANEBLAAAAAAAADEEEE!

Sounds like an involuntary "Steel Rehn" maneuver.
IT IS THE BANEBLAAAADE!
Lord Erik AHHhHhHH IT IS THE BANEBLAAAADE “it needs more close range capabilities so I may help it hit Xenos with my sword.”
I finally got my hands on a Baneblade model. Theyre friggin awesome. Thanks for the lore video on my Favorite Tank!
You're welcome :)
Well done !!
Salute Bro & Thank you 🫡

Wise choice.
the driver : they drive the tank . thank you for that clarification GDN . ive always wondered that which youve answered for me today thank you
But the driver can also shoot one of the main guns :)
It'd be awesome to see some Ork looted baneblade conversions
Especially if they can go 50kph after “Da Kustomaree Red Paynt Job”.
I might put a few pictures of that when i talk about more Ork vehicles.
Damn can't wait to get my Fellblade for my Black Templars
Something to keep in mind is that the M1 Abrams weighs about a 60 tons roughly… the Bane is 316… by the Emperor…
Well, it is a SUPER heavy.
Is the auto cannon a 100mm gun?
Will you be doing a video for the Variants of the BAAAAANEBLADE!!!!!
Matthew Merrell 0:45... 🍻
Of course. Stormswords, Banehammers and everything in between :)
Forge World: How big should the tank be?
Imperial Guard: MAKE IT THICC
Imperial Guard: YES
The Baneblade tanks looks like Metal Slug, they have smaller guns at the side, very cool
Yes GrimDark Narrator. That was Baneblade are part of Imperial Guard strength!
While it's ridiculous to think something that weighs 316 tonnes could ever be considered a scout tank, it does give pause for thought when you consider the Warhound scout titan weighs 410 tonnes. Mind you the Warhound is also much faster than the Baneblade but still.

IT IS THE BANEBLADE!!
... and a pintle mounted storm bolter. Because... well just because.
It wouldn't be a Baneblade without it.
The all in one tank for all your purging needs. Hail the emperor for his gifts!
Amen!
Until Saint Sabbat rolls up and murders it with a fuckin sword
Came for the meme...
Was not disappointed.
You'd think Captain Diomides would make the mechanicum build drop pods big enough to perform a STEEL RAIN of BAAAAANNNNEEE BLAAAAAAADDDEE!
I think they did once
I hope that for your space marine video, the first one is the mighty land rader. start from the strongest, to change things aroung
I got no issues with that, whenever I start space marine vehicles though.
IT IS THE BANE-oh shit somebody already did that one. Fuck.
*insert original Baneblade joke here*
BANEBLADE !
Definitely.
Baneblade = "fuck off"
I still like the Stormblade, but FUCK!! This thing is God on tracks!!!!
The most ubiquitous superheavy in the imperium, probably.
HM..........
Commissar Yarraick will you have extra cheese with your burger!?

I'll most definitely cover the Thunderhawks at some point and the Stormbird if there's enough solo lore on it.
GrimDark Narrator sweet I look forward to it. I'm really hoping that there is enough lore on the sokar pattern stormbird as the forge world kit looks amazing and I'm really interested in seeing what's behind the history of it in the imperium. YUKARI THAT IS MY SPIRIT TANK!
What hapens if the auto scribe runs out of Paper or ink?
Fire all barrels in the name of the holy emperor
Baneblade vs maus
Except the Baneblade is actually a functional tank :D
Nah buddy, *this is an alliance.*
The Baneblade: Never get stuck in traffic again!
Any tank with an elevator gets my vote....
I find that extremely funny for some reason :D
You know ya done goufed if this thing shows up.
it my BANEBLADE!
I can't place your accent GrimDark Narrator, where are you from if you don't mind me asking? Somewhere in Asia I think.
I really enjoy your videos.
I am from Romania :)
BOORWA BAASH!!! what an enemy thinks when they see a baneblade according to where I come from
BANEBLADE

*BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*
I only regret the Astartes cannot pilot such an awesome tank. Someone find an STC for an Astartes super heavy tank.
Astartes have superheavy tanks, though they are far less common in the 41st millennium ( as for crunch over fluff, they are mostly used in the 31st millennium during the events before and during the Horus Heresy and the models/rules can be found at forge world.)
Forgeworld is way outta my budget. Still, it’s good to know.
They did have their own Baneblade-esque tanks during the Great Crusade/Horus Heresy. There's also the Land Raiders, which are relatively bigger than Baneblades.
I think of Land Raiders as APCs rather than super heavy battle tank.
Best tank ever!!!! If only that tank had actually existed
Jokes on all of you mines made out of wood!
"But how???!!! How could you stop my power??!!!"
@@GrimDarkNarrator i know this was 2 years but nice reference
So silly. Good luck carrying a practical amount of ammo in that thing.
Next up, the Mega Gargant. ;) If you please sir.
There should be a gargant video in the Orks Lore playlist.
316 tons...
The Mous weighs 188 tons
this is not even double, its light a af. But this means we could build one in real life!!
Why would we, though ? :P
@@GrimDarkNarrator Becouse its is the coolest vehicle in fiction? Man I LOVE tanks with many guns, the more the better.
BANEBLADE INCOMING Fix bayonets!!!
they are called treds not tracks jeez
q
Man or women lol 😉
BANEBLADE!!!!
