My grandparents got me into old time radio. I've been a die hard Sherlock Holmes fan since I was 6. Basil and Nigel will always be my favs. I first heard The Saint on 100.7 The Gift in Colorado Springs when they did 90 minutes of OTR. Vincent Price was classy and his wit was always a joy when he played Simon. One of my favorite shows to come on next to The Shadow or Suspense. I have these episodes on my cell and love to fall asleep to them. I'm 41, so wasn't around during these golden years, but I still treasure them and being raised on good taste.
Just finished up Great stories. Vincent Price what a classic Gent. Just wish we could of hung in there a few More weeks and I would of got to see him at the Novi movie expo. Sorry missed yesterday a day at the in-laws.
What a great show, with fantastic acting, and wonderfully witty scripts. Vincent Price was perfect casting in the title role, with his debonair insouciance, and perfect diction. I can't believe that he's been gone for exactly 30 years today. For me, he will always be The Saint, and thanks to these uploads, will always be around. Many, many thanks Dino.
