I think this certainly addresses a player need for bases in the Outlands. I kinda wish there were normal above ground towns, but you can’t have everything.
Or the fact that it still is useless to smaller guilds. The guild that controls a territory can attack your hideout if they pay the fee. Lol. And maybe you can pay a tribute . Either way what happens is the mega guilds/alliances get bigger. I would like an alliance cap and lower guild cap instead of any of these changes. Many of these mega alliances hold crazy amounts of territory. I thought the whole point of the hideouts was for the little guys who cant do jack. People are saying this patch sounds balanced. I'm sure it does if you are in the in those monopoly holding guilds.

Meaning this will become a problem like it always has where the mega guilds will bully all the smaller guilds by destroying guilds. This has happened over and over in albion because it seems the devs do not get that the formulas they come up with to address this ends up being the practically the same. Paying tribute to the mega guilds to make them even more powerful. What are you doing ? You feed the mega guilds. Makes smaller guilds players stop playing because there is no point in even trying.

jfl @ you were right. Hideouts were a fiasco for smaller guilds, 20 vs 200 POE zerg, ive heard worse from 1941 and ARCH. They arent even trying to cap the center of the map, they just zerg noob guilds in their safe zones
It's way easier to straight cap a city plot. With this you have a wide window of time to figure out how to maintain your territory. Good gvg team takes a town plot in four days no contest.

Those are some surprisingly balanced changes. The only debatable part is the entering of the hideout in context of the combat mode

Can you guy make "Dens" or something for smaller player groups? So a group of 5 to 10 can live in the blackzone?

Yes, but at the same time, the hideout can be located in a Tier 8 location, which will allow you to farm more safely in high-tires locations.

They are easier to obtain than city plots and much more flexible. You can place them in T8 zones for example.
