Gonna say something different than the other comments I'm seeing: THANK YOU! Thank you for this, and all the other videos like it. My wife and i have been watching all of them and cant tell you how helpful these videos are. The honesty is fantastic and we share these videos with all our friends.
Hi Steve & Francesco, From previous home owners, I had a 42 inch subzero which stopped working a few months ago. Because of the replacemet cost I looked at Bosch because it also has two compressors. It was a nightmare after two Bosch 36 inch refrigerators had energy star stickers that were sealed with adhesive that I could not get off so that is going back! Now, I'm wondering if I should get the 42 inch Subzero or another comparable brand. Would you say that subzero is the best OR do you have other suggestions? Thanks
I really like the look of Big Chill classic - what do you think about that one? And i hear it's made by Blue Star... And, i believe, not sure, that they have a separate all freezer option.... ?
How does the new large signature Kitchen Suite fridge factor into this? Is that not considered a builtin? Is that considered integrated? Or neither? Hard to get a sense of how SKS fits in to some of these comparisons. Can't find any info on their induction cooktop.
@@YaleAppliance1 Can you help me out a little? The title of this video is "best built-in refrigerators of 2023", so I thought this was your "built in video".
Does the Cafe built-in count as a "budget" Monogram? I've been at war with myself for some time trying to decide if the Monogram justifies the nearly $2000 premium.
Kitchenaid was once a great company. The parts are hard to come by and the repairs are numerous. And worse, the repairs csnt be done. Infact on their flagship integration is junk. The repair centers will not even touch them. Ice maker stopped in 6 months. Freezer stopped at 2 years and upper stopped in 5. $3500

Wow, thank you!
I bought the True 48" side by side. Love it. Build like a tank.
Can you do video on dual compressor refrigerators vs column and freezers?
Specially Subzero
I'm trying to decide.
I think we could
I don't know if Big Chill has a duel compressor, which sounds good ?
I wish you had rated the Cafe 48" side-by-side also.

For built ins, SubZero is the best.....You have other options like True, BlueStar, Thermador, and Monogram as well
Surprised there was no mention of Thermador, are they trending down?
They dont make the compressor tops...check out our built in video
For a 36” built in with French doors: BlueStar or SZ classic? Like them both and feel torn.

I thought BC was made by Whirlpool. We dont sell it at Yale
Do the Monogram 48" side by side refrigerators really have dual compressors?
yes

Look at our built in video

Sorry, built ins are compressor tops....integrated is the refrigerator designed to look flush to cabinet

Depends on the product
I can't believe the prices to be honest. Some of them literally cost more than a minimum wage worker makes in a year. Scary.
No question.....
What about Thermador?
They only make the integrated...not the compressor tops
No thermador?
They dont make the compressor tops
@@YaleAppliance1 ahh gotcha. Thank you for the response.
Where is Miele, you can’t have a tier list without the goat of S tier appliances.
dont make the compressor tops
I don’t understand what you mean every European kitchen does built in flush kitchens.
The "industry" calls them integrated.....We will have a video on that.
LG is better for service and availability, and yes, you gotta like the price. Sub-Zero is great, but do you want it bad enough to wait a year?
Yes

Subzero deserves an S.
Closest to...
monogram deserved the S
Come on.....
How can you use the words reliable and LG in the same sentence? Their "linear compressor" is sh!t.
I hear ya....and thought so myself. But based on 37,000+ service calls, we completed just last year, LG is the most reliable.
LG is crap in a fridge.
