PLEIN AIR AT SEATTLE SEAPLANES

In this video, I visit Seattle Seaplanes and do an en plein air painting of Lake Union Dry Docks and a float plane. I try a new Red Dot pointed round brush from Rosemary and Co for the initial sketch to increase the expressiveness of the composition. I talk about and show my pleinair oil painting process.

I've never painted away from my Midwest home, but we were in Seattle in 2021. Our rental got towed and I had to recover it from the towing company. Waiting there for the car, I though the colorful chaos of the towing lot would have made a great painting. Too bad. Sorry about the passing of your cat.
