Holy limoncello. Never expected the Pikes Peak to look the 'affordable' buy.
I watched the official Ducati release in Italian a few hours earlier (English subtitles). Encourage those interested to give it a view. Repetitive early on, but it's nice getting a dose of that Italian flair (more to come Nov. 2nd).

Total beauty. I rode the regulat V4s and it was strong, only small negative was engine heat. Brakes was one thing I cant forget. Such a pleasure when braking. If it would cost 20 k € I would buy one now 😢.

I don't understand this bike - how is it better than a Pikes Peak? You get 10HP that you will never notice (and less torque than the Pikes Peak, per the Ducati website). But it comes with a dry clutch rattle and shorter service intervals so it's a real Ducati! Cool I guess? If they had put a more aggressive tune in the engine I would at least see the argument. Give it the full 200+hp engine and then it's a streetfighter with some wind protection, which sounds awesome to me (even if I cannot afford it).

Well... let me share you that I've got SFV4 SP version, and it's the best motorcycle I've ever had, but only for on road trips. Now I'm ordering also a multi v4 rally, to cover my long distance journeys, with better fuel autonomy and some offroad capabilites. So now, this RS with an engine in the middle of this both, not as powerfully nor good range, and dry clutch (requires way more maintenance)... it's ok for someone who wants an extra punch in a multi, but for me: useless cause tries to do everything, but can't do it perfectly. Perfect is, to use the types of motorcycles for what they are designed for. So sticking to my original plan, one for the insane speed pleasure (SP), another for traveling capabilities, with lower maintenance and inviting my girlfriend to it (rally). Btw very nice content!

10 bhp more than pikes peak , much shorter servicing . What I really don’t like is the Audi= R/S. logo, red callipers mmmm. Paint job for kids. Pikes peak looks way cooler and classier. I’d go for full system over dry clutch any day. I actually put down 1K. Deposit today before 3pm when it was announced. After being told about it by my ducati dealer . Glad it’s refundable. I’ll stick with my PP V4. with measleyb170 bhp, , grand tourismo engine is brilliant , kept me laughing in the year I’ve had it and covered nearly 12000 miles and enjoyed every minute. 👍

Good lord the Pike's Peak version was already priced insanely high (almost double what my 1290 SAS cost), nevermind this version. It's $42k here in Canada, which would actually be double of what my 1290 SAS cost. Damn! That said, these are amazing bikes and I would of course love one, but it's definitely an exclusive piece reserved for the wealthy. I expect a lot of them will end up like most of these expensive limited pieces do, as garage queens in rich collectors' garages.

The shorter service on a touring bike will be a pain. The PP should have been called a V4 R. Unless you give it 200bhp like the up coming 1000xr this is a waste. You get the same bhp on the pikes peak with the full exhaust. I won’t be upgrading my PP as as I prefer my paint job.

This is quite an odd bike.
The regular multi already gets not-great mileage, and this motor is known to be even worse (and that's when it's in a 400lbish Panigale/Streetfighter), so in a 530 lbs bike I would it will be pretty bad. Between that and the dry clutch that burns out pretty quick (again in a lightweight sport/naked bike) I think this will be a maintenance nightmare!

This is how the multistrada V4 should have looked from the begining ! single sided swinging arm and 17 inch front! lets face it NOBODY will take their Multi to serious offroad. Now they are brining this out and want top money, they will sell out as they find these odd people who doesnt ride motorcycles just collecting them. Well they might take the bike a few times a year to a race track. Beautiful bike. wish they will be able to do a Multistrada which is multi V4s price but with single swinging arm and 17 inch front. If i want an 19 inch adventure there are better options like KTM and BMW. Ducati miss the trick, they destroyed the multistrada. As an ex multistrada 1200s owner so dissapointed to see what they have done to this motorcycle. Ridden V4s multi (to buy) its awful, ridden V4 pikes peak its excellent but i wouldnt pay that money. So there for ducati is no go for me for years to come. This is why BMW is successful they never confuse or integrate the GS and the XR they are different bikes. Ducati should have kept multi On road and off road as category. But they are italian and they are high.

Completely unnecessary. Why not just get a panigale or streetfighter. Multistrada will always be comprised in performance enverioment just like any other SUV that's trying to be a sports car.

Track day garages will be full of these. Not. This is like a giraffe wearing runners trying to convince you it is a cheetah. A pointless motorcycle. Ducati is clearly trying to milk the last pennies out of the ever shrinking demographics left with disposable income. Oh, and they needed to pad out this years launches.

$40k... I can literally buy a Tesla for less than that. The bike still lacks everything the Grand turismo added, has every problem/fault that the V4S has, fuel tank is too small, and now it has lost the signature 36,000 mile valve check. For the price of this you can just buy a regular used Multistrada V4S and a Panigale.

😂 that's how they make their money , release every little piece of shit, why they dont release just 1 or 2 bike with full package or just retrofit with based model
