I have bad anxiety as well! My symptoms are similar to yours! The breathing techniques and just me realizing where I am and what I can touch. I need to focus on my surroundings to remain calm.
This year is flying already! I started working more hours at work, its different, especially with the kids but I'm doing it! I tried breathing techniques, meditating on scripture and listen to worship music to help with anxiety. Thanks for sharing!
Girl I hear ya on the making sure you don't cut your hair part. I cut my hair one time by cutting too short and I was so mad at myself...lol...definitely gotta give yourself that buffer. January was rough...I had a lot of stress and anxiety. Mostly because it was the 1 year anniversary of my father's passing. I actually started getting more anxiety attacks after my dad passed away. I've had them in the pass, but not as many as I've had in the past year. They just creep up on you. For me, I've learned to give myself time to get control of my breathing, calm down, and try to talk myself out of it. On a brighter note, I love your videos! After 6 weeks, my braids are coming down tomorrow evening! lol
I appreciate your tip on handling anxiety attacks. It's real in these streets girl and I just have to get better at handling them when they come. Hopefully the rest of the year will be better for us. 💕
Great update video Vondra! I love a protective style but have not tried knotless braids. Pray you continue to heal from your anxiety attacks. I don't know what ways to help them. I do use essential oils and maybe there are some that can help with the mood. Also CBD oil is great for it also. It does not get you high because it does not contain the THC component that does. Such a mature outlook on taking a step back from the wedding and getting reacquainted and dating each other. Many blessings to you and the family!
Thank you for sharing. Anxiety is different for different people. Cheers to you for recognizing in class to remove self, for having someone to call, and for releasing as you did. Hugs you softly. Fyi: your hair has grown so much...tips...
2020 has been rough! 4 family members transitioned in January and I’m preparing for my son’s paternal grandmothers services tomorrow. I commend you on the decision to postpone your marriage so you can make your mental health a priority. I’m sending prayers and well wishes to you! 🙏🏾 Stay lifted!

I’m a new follower. You inspired me to get knotless braids and I am absolutely in love. I never want knotted braids again. Btw, you are beautiful!
