@Keithwestley, do you plan to create an updated version of this beginner seminar this year? I just want to make sure everything still applies before I get started in this adventure.
To answer your question, in one word maybe? Light o Rama has good software, but trying to incorporate other controllers using DMX will require converter cable/device box, but if your entire display is LOR and ready to go, no need to change. This question is better answered through learning more about other controllers, and what you wnat to achieve in the coming years.

I was not planning to. While there is always change the change over the past year has not been as great as in years past.
Hi ,sorry for the late question:I have light a rama s5 pro with 112 ac channels and 2000 ws2811 pixels would I benefit from changing to xlights?
