I have just done a VERY. Rough calculation with 500 g mince, 400 ml cream, 2lb potatoes some cheese, that dish is atleast 6,000 calories! I probably underestimated the amounts she put in it could be as much as 10,000! This is nuts

I've spent several years fixing up and remodeling my home and property in between the time I spend at work or helping my parents. I always feel sad that it's been such a slow and painstaking process to do everything right, but even now it's nice to see that the work I've done is leagues above the "luxury" fartbox. Not only that, but to actually own it and have it paid off at 29. Chantal isn't going to live long enough to be able to own or build anything.
