I learned a lot from this post. Our albino female also has red upper and lower beak; our cleartail male, black lower beak. I thought he may be part African Ringneck (he was hatched in Mozambique) but I guess not. Rico is precious... thanks!
Ricco is the only one friend of my parrot Pari.. since she has no partner at home, everyday I play Ricco videos for her.. omg seeing tht she used to make lots of excitement, sounds & rapidly fly here and there… ( we hve given her cageless life) Tht makes me happy too… Thank you for uploading Ricco’s videos! We enjoy seeing it.
Hiya, sorry for always commenting, u are the best to rely on… ❤ Love ricco so much❤❤❤❤ So, what age can u start to transition the ringneck into its cage?
It really depends on your bird and how strong they are. I would definitely start off with a smaller cage such as a travel cage with lower perches to be safe and eventually move your bird to a larger cage.
Yee, you should go on with more scientific videos like these, ask me any time for themes or pics if you want. Btw he is so good in modeling for the vid. 💚
Thank you, I love doing these kinds of videos, but unfortunately they take more time and work. But I’ll definitely try, at least once and awhile lol. 😊💕
Wow mind blowing facts 🤠 ! Ricco is such a lucky and adorable little baby 🐥. My tiko is a standard Indian ring-necked parrot 🦜......we always watch Ricco's videos together! Take care buddy 💖
And could u explain about what age and what time of the day I can start to feed soft veggies and only doing night feeds by leaving veggies and soft fruit in the cage during the day?
If your bird is willing to eat soft vegetables from now it should be ok. I wouldn’t recommend leaving vegetables or fruits in the cage for long periods of time, you don’t want it to spoil. Perhaps it’s better to offer these outside of the cage .
That explains why Ricco still looks like a baby. Thank you for this, helps me better understand now lol.
Thank you for watching 😊
Ricco will be cutie pie forever. Thanks for your very informative post.
Much love from Australia ❤🦘
Thank you 🥰 Glad you enjoyed the video 😊💕
The fact that Ricco has a forever baby look 😘💛
Right, that’s why he gets away with being such a big baby lol 😁💕
Hes so lovely. I wish i could pet him. So soft and beautiful.
Aww thank you so much 🥰

You know, I never noticed that he didn't have a ring. Or his eyes being different. How funny I didn't notice.
Haha that’s ok, now I’m sure you will notice the difference lol. Most people really don’t know and just think he’s still a baby 😁
@@Riccothegreenpiedirn Floyd is a year and no ring yet. He was DNA'd male.
@@jojo1828v Sometimes it takes longer to show up, my Chico was about 1 1-2 when it started to come out.
