Some Explanations: - The 2nd Kitt is to replace the missing starter lost when Opening gets limited. Sometimes the 2nd Kitt comes in useful too. I prefer kitt to Nadir Servant, since Nadir really doesnt do much by itself. - The Effect Veilers are a good handtrap to stop snake-eye. Using it on Snake-Eye Ash is usually more effective than Nibiru would be. Most snake eye players are skilled enough to play around/through nibiru now. Its important to play veiler instead of imperm in branded, since its a spellcaster, allowing it to be used with High Spirits by sending Granguingol to the graveyard. Its also material for sanctifire, which allows you to summon sanctifire with branded fusion without having to use cartesia or quem. This can come up when you draw access to both of them and dont want to waste the value. Having a monster you can normal summon to make verte is also an advantage over imperm. Its also potentially material for granguinol alongside cartesia too, which is a play that can come up when the only engine card you draw is fusion deployment. - Triple Tactics Talents is effective at breaking the snake-eye board. Usually a strong hand of engine + talents can push through the full snake-eye combo. I prefer this to more handtraps as they are generally unreliable, since the opponent will sometimes have called by, crossout, or an extender to push through the handtrap. Only 2 copies since it can brick in multiples. Theres a lot of handtraps in the format too, so having talents in your hand going 1st is often pretty nice. - Quearitis is the best target to play for granguinol. It has the best application for otks, since it can reduce the opponents monsters to 0 attack. The only matchup where proskenion is preferred is the mirror match. Snake-eye is the dominant deck currently, so the build should be customized for that matchup mainly. Quearitis is also very practical compared to the alternatives, since it can be easily made with branded in red, superpoly, banishment. Masquerade is the next best thing, but since it cant be summoned with granguinols effect, its best to play queartis. - The Thrusts + duplication are mandatory in my opinon. Thrust is so strong going 2nd, especially when talents is in the deck, and its a lifesaver going 1st. - Mudragon is a flex spot. It could be garura, or even a different albaz fusion too. (sometimes i miss Brigrand).
I appreciate all the work you did❤🙏. I’m think too hard on the lines that the timer tells me too Hurry The Fk Up!😅. Also, dueling the snakes makes me wish for Branded support with an Omni Negate.
I’ve Seen some people play 2 granguignols what do you think about it? In some occasion it happens to me that i think: i would’ e won with two of them, is it just me?
@@mochanomochaHonestly at this point I don't think losing Branded Fusion would kill the deck. There's so many ways to use, search for, and recycle other fusion monsters/spells that we don't need to solely rely on Branded Fusion anymore. It's likely due to the fact that early on BF was seen to be the best card in the deck but was obviously vulnerable to Ash Blossom which prompted duelists to find a way around this. That has been perfected so much by now that you don't even need to use BF to win a duel now. Cartisia, Branded in White, Super Polymerization, and the original Polymerization in a well built deck could carry you through most duels as long as you know how to use it. As long as it's legal it will of course continue to see play but if we were to lose it I personally believe Branded players would do as we've done from the beginning and continue to adapt. Losing Cartisia could definitely be a real problem though as that's our best way of dodging Ash Blossom but I don't see that happening.
This was beautiful!! Same as the reasoning behind your deck list choices. I never fret seeing April gameplay even if she destroys my wonderful Labby..I could feel their desperation and eventual acceptance of defeat at your hands. Cheers!
I had to learn to play the deck once I pulled a royal mirrorjade. It's been a good investment and fun to play. It's a shame that Konami is pushing people away from playing Branded but I'll keep playing until they kill the deck
What specifically did you find better by replacing the fusion 'Despian Proskenion' with 'Despian Quaeritis' I love to rework the main/extra deck of Branded Despia to see multiple utilities. Actualy balancing the pros and cons of the two above-mentioned cards. You realy have a good control of these decks so if you can enlighten me, I would be grateful to you. In any case, I thank you for the numerous content that you present on your channel which have supported me in my adventures on Yu Gi Oh!
thanks! specifically the reason i prefer quearitis is that it only takes 2 monsters to make, instead of the 3 that proskenion requires. This means you can more often use branded in red or superpoly, or banishment to dodge something like imperm or veiler, since there doesnt need to be multiple other monsters on the field. Its also a much more reliable card to keep you safe from being otkd in the case that your only defense is the granguingol effect. Lastly, its because it can be summoned on your own turn to help push for lethal even when the opponent has a lot of monsters on the board. This comes up a lot against snake eye, their link monsters will always be in attack position, so you can sometimes otk by attacking them after reducing their attack to 0. Proskenion is better in the mirror match since it can revive powerful monsters from the opponents graveyard like mirrorjade, or banish their albaz fusions so they cant trigger in the endphase. Its also 3200 so it requires an effect to be removed, rather than just an attack. Since snake-eye has been released though, the mirror is less common, so its not worth playing proskenion just for this.
Your arguments are very interesting, I take note of them. I hadn't really seen Quaeritis as a secondary interruption yet, I use these Despia Fusions a lot more via the kisscool effect of the Grandgignol To have a big defender Proskenion has 3200 attack to exceed the limit of 3000 quite common among bosses. As for the effect of reducing attack points to zero, it makes sense, I note. You inspired me to get into Branded Despia and frankly I find the deck very cool, even if it's true that sometimes in the current meta it's really a constant battle where I question all the choices in terms of Deckbuilding. I'm still new to Branded, I still have a lot to learn, anyway. Thank you very much for your very comprehensive response. Very interesting ! Cheers
Curious why you don't run Bystial Magnamhut. Still learning all the in's and out's of this deck, since Bystial Saronir is not Limited to make it easier to search.
It allows albaz to fuse with any monster special summoned that turn which can be useful also it has a nice effect to destroy any cards in the column it moves to
You mostly mill it via Mirrorjade if you want to search Kitt. It’s important because Kitt can retrieve Branded Fusion that has been banished from something like Fusion Duplication.
lol. yeah u can. all you need is albaz and 4 other dragons. Doesnt matter if they are in the hand or gy or field or mixture of both, as long as one of them is albaz.
against branded i would wait for them to summon albion with branded fusion, instead of chaining to branded fusion. if they start with a different special summon like a bystial or deployment, u can maxx c then. against snake eye i like to wait until poplar if they start with normal summon ash, and in response to original when they start with diabel. i dont like doing it on resolution of wanted. id prefer to make them choose a discard first.
So in general ranked you don't like to activate maxx c in standby phase? There are so many kashtira and bellester just jumping on the board before asking, getting on my nerves
it can only negate a fusion, synchro, xyz, or link monster effect. and it also has to chain directly to monster effect. if your opponent responds inbetween then you wont be able to. remember that u need to be toggled to auto or on for rindbrum to offer itself.
@@KhMaster1212i know this might be a little late but you need to enable self chaining in your settings, otherwise the game won't let you chain to your own cards effects
