Julie, I love how each petal is different and there is row upon row of different textures! That mold makes sculptures!
I wanted to share some thoughts and ideas with you, as I do :)
"Interference" colors are essentially clear and mostly show the background color until the metallic color appears and flashes in the light.
I wonder why you don't manipulate the mold more to fill in details with fewer bubbles? Resin is so different from paint!
Remember to line both hands to 12 when assembling the clock. If you haven't trimmed the hands yet, I wonder if a little bee could zoom around. I envision her facing the direction she is going, hurrying to the next, bee on a petal.
To see if there is enough room on the hands for this, just line the hands in that 12 position and see if you can glue the bees into position.
Balance of assembly remains the same. It should still keep correct time but the battery may not last as long.
You inspire me almost every day. Your incredible Sunflower mold has more sculptures to make. Can't wait! ~~~^..^
PS: There are 22 petals, room for 11 bees on alternate petals. You will have to measure.

I just thought … If you didn’t have 12 bees for a full clock face, you could put a bee on the hands of the clock. Or even a bee on one hand and a honey pot on the other. ☺️
This would make a pretty bowl. Maybe even a bird bath.

What a beautiful mould!! This is a great idea to use the bees to make a clock!! 🌻 I think I would just put the bees at 12,6,9 and 3. That way it doesn’t distract to much from the beauty of the flower itself. 💛🤎

This is a gorgeous mold. When using the interference colours you need to use black resin in order for the gold to really show. Just for future. I understand why u didn’t use black but interference colours show better with a dark background. But I just love this and I love the bees. The clock idea is awesome
