Use the blender: 1. to blend light colors to the white of the page 2. for correction if you wetn out of the line 3. "lift up" / lighten / destaurate the colors you already put down. Other ways of using it don't seem to be very useful. (longer version in my previous comment)
Ooh, I enjoyed this video, thank you for sharing! I do think I prefer the blender side. I hadn’t even considered putting it down on the page first, then adding the colour markers on top! So thanks for showing how that looks when you do it that way.
So you just made the whole area wet with the blender and then you colored over it as usual? I don't think the blender makes too much sense that way because the alcohol evaporates relatively quickly, and with your lightest color, you will make the paper wet anyway. I think a much better way for using the blender is just to blend your lightest color with the WHITE of the paper. In areas that are covered by a color, I don't use the blender at all. Neither before nor after I apply the colors. But in areas that I want to leave partially white (strong highlights of the white of the eyes), I put down my lightest color first, then I blend that with the white part using the colorless blender. It works fantastic for that! It can also help to "push the color back" a little bit (lighten it) if you went out of the line. For anything else, I find it pretty much useless.

Oh, or you can also use the blender to lighten / desaturate colos that you already put down. Sometimes that's useful, too.
can you draw and color them without fast forwarding

If you use a drawing with no blender, the inking shoud be wet, and use a different color or shade.
