I had just watched Markipliers new 3 scary games video and thought to myself, I wonder if Gab will ever do something like this, with all the short, but good horror games out there. Then boom you uploaded this, like answering a silent request instantly or something 😂😂

I enjoy these bite sized horror experiences. Even if others play the same games, it's always a fresh experience when someone new gives them a go, because everyone plays differently. Enjoyed this video, and I hope to see more if it works for Gabs!

That's what she says! Probably both as a reference to something, and to censor the word as I've heard youtube is aggressively allergic to that specific word for some reason.

The way the "Day 4" note for the first game was written just reminds me of the lodge caretaker from Nancy Drew and the White Wolf of Icicle Creek, the "I fired and I missed!" man. 😂

Always makes me giggle when you say “Decaffinated!” My mom and I quote that movie all the time. Hot Fuzz is a hidden gem, I’m glad to know one of my favorite UA-camrs loves it too. 😂

Something about the atmosphere in that _You and the Night_ game really resonated with me. I think you're right about it Gab, so many games will cite Silent Hill as an influence, but it's remarkable given the ubiquity of that franchise how few games actually get it right. Even some later Silent Hill titles couldn't recapture the lonely and unheimlich sensibility of the earlier iterations.
I'm so happy you've jumped on the 3 scary games train. They're the perfect length to watch over my lunch break.

Watching both Gab and Mark get jump scared by the same thing on the same day has improved my mood immensely. Super happy to see some short horror games form Gab tho!! It's so relaxing cause she just laughs at the scary things!!

Found you through your oollld White Day playthrough, thinking back on that is pretty nostalgic honestly. I'd love to see more videos like this, it absolutely fits your style!

Perfect short (half an hour) vid for my lunch break in the office to chill to before resuming works/ getting ready to teach afternoon classes.
Decaffeinated, from coffee to murder. Sounds kinda like an odd book title lol
The fog physics was definitely done well in the 2nd game and emulated Silent Hill's atmosphere. One game series can really embed the feeling of not wanting to walk out in the fog or mist, especially at night when street lights serve as the only guideposts. The fear of what might lurk within.
Gabs reaction when you get fed to the entity had me laughing. 😂
the change of pace is nice! i like your long games but there's definitely something to be said for shorter indies that aren't as drawn out. def would be interested in seeing more of these :D
Gab please do more of these, I love your long play throughs, but these short adventures are so entertaining to watch 🙂

Also for Anybody wondering the gas board is actually $2.79 the gas boards just dont use decimals usually. and the 9/10 is 9/10ths of a cent. its an old practice. back when gas only costed like 10 cent a gallon gas going up by 1 cent was a big deal so to make people feel like they were getting a deal on gas the stations would add on 9/10ths of a cent instead of a full penny and they just never got rid of the practice lol

I really hope that she plays fort Solis, it just came out. Outer space, a few hours long, amazing voice actors and its a story driven thriller. Its right up her alley.
I would absolutely love to see more like this, it feels like a bit of a return to your roots a bit with playing more indie or lesser known stuff, and it's easier to just sit down and watch.

Gabs if you ever have the time i would LOVEEE to see you play more SCP content and dive deeper into that universe in general. I found myself highly enjoying my time googling different SCPs while watching your play through and learning about that entire universe solely from seeing a few numbers pop up on your screen! It runs so deep and I think you would realllllly love how crazy some of it gets. even if you just did a stream going through the SCP wiki for like an hour. That would be soooo much fun
I would love more videos like this! I obviously love the longer games/series too but this is a nice change of pace, I wouldn't mind seeing a combination of long and short games 😊

The numbers at the beginning of the second game are gas prices in the US! $1.37 per gallon! I miss those days…

The second game was very Silent Hill (which is listed in video details lol). From the fog, the sounds, the style, the text, the hotel by the lake, the chains on the door, etc.

I think the "almost human" sound is a reference to the creepy camping advice not to try to help screams in the woods, because it's probably a bobcat or mountain lion... or something else. Also, in South America, people believe you shouldn't respond to 3 whistles in the woods. Ironically, Morse code for S.O.S. is ... --- ..., and 3 of anything (e.g. 3 campfires) is typically recognized as a distress signal. Sucks for anyone on a camping trip gone wrong down there, I guess.
random but for anyone wondering the gas station prices were in us dollars. Ours is price per gallon. so it was $1.37 for regular gas which is what most cars use. the 9/10 is something to do with how our gas is taxed? I'm not entirely sure how it works but it means like if you wanna buy a specific number of gallons you can buy that, or if you wanna buy a specific dollar amount in gas you can buy that and you don't have tax charged on gas. It's already included in the amount since tax is different depending on what state you're in. Of course gas costs WAY more than that, this game is likely set in the mid 90s based on the gas prices alone.

And the first game reminds me that not everyone lives in a place with coyotes and barn owls- coyote screams and barn owl screeches are the most "demonic" sounds I've ever heard, although after all these years I'm rather used to it!

The second game reminds a bit to an X-Files episode called Roadrunners; similar concept but without cannibalism, lol.
