Any issues after doing this yourself? Seen too many people saying it might have issues in unless done by a shop. But people forget how to wrench on their toys these days. Taking my apart this week. How do you mod the gasket or just run the newer gasket?
Dry gasket. I sometimes use the red spray on sticky stuff to hold it in position when putting cover on. Just need to make a small cut on the 04-06 gasket to make it work
Joshua Machado I used the same oil pump. I wanted to do the upgraded oil pump, but I read that people were using the same pump. I would recommend the upgrade if you have the money. So far it’s doing good with the original pump. It’s been a few years now.

No I kept the same one and it’s still running after years. You change it if you want

DVS Browntown been a year and absolutely no issues! Ride almost every weekend.

Ryan Gallardo yes the kit comes with a thick o-ring that seals the oil squirter in
Is that all you had to do is drill the hole for the squirter and the other one?
You have to shave the piece down fist and then drill towards the passage hole
What size grinding stone did you use??

Too much ass farting around, I just added an oil cooler on mine from oil filter cap,job done!
It’s the wrist pin that needs oil
