He HAS to be the lead back moving forward. The other guys we got are nice role players but he makes our run game elite 💯
I jus don't think he can carry a full workload but we'll see hopefully he can
27 carries a game isn’t realistic but I do think his skill set should have him on the field 75% of the time moving forward. We’ve hardly seen him used in the pass game against one on one coverage, or in the screen game against the blitz.

You just better hope he can shake the injury bug that has plagued him the entire time he's been in the NFL. Why do you think the Lions let you have him so cheaply? If it wasn't for all his injury history, I doubt the Lions would have drafted Gibbs this year, as they wouldn't have needed to.

@@AMHC19 Dude, the Lions O-line is nice, and has been for a few years now, especially when it comes to run-blocking. Don't sit there and act like Philly's line is so much better and that's why Swift isn't going to get hurt. You mark my words, and come back to them when the season is over: Swift will not last 16 games if Philly is giving him the bulk of the carries. He's just not built to handle that kind of load.
The combination of patience and burst looks rare. Most guys with his burst don’t wait for their blocks. Looks like Pittsburgh Leveon with more speed

I feel like nobody watched this guy play in Detroit. He's every bit as talented as any other running back in the league, just couldn't stay healthy. But when the Eagles only had to give up a fourth for them, I knew they'd gotten a steal
🎯🎯🎯 People weren’t paying attention. All they saw were stats and health reports; not what was happening on the field - which was very impressive. Now that he’s behind the best O-Line in the league, he’s poised to have a career year. He’ll have every same opportunity Miles Sanders had, and Swift is certainly more explosive and talented. Gonna be a great season for Eagles fans to enjoy watching him.
IMHO I don’t think we would’ve won this game without utilizing Swift the way we did. He’s a solid RB1.

The luxury of also having a QB who slows defenders down because he can pull the ball out and run or pass. If you look at the Vikings defenders, they are pausing a second to see if Hurts is going to keep the ball. And that pause leaves them a step behind and on their heals.

He's healthy now, but it remains to be seen how long that will last. He's great, when healthy. The problem is that he's not healthy often. He played like this for Detroit last year, until he got hurt. Then, the wheels came off. Just stfu.
