Maybe you should call it the Stuffed sausage dog. You two are great. I’m watching all your videos. Just started my first tray. It was sweet corn and popcorn seeds and it’s turning out great so far. My wife is amazed with it and the flavor. She’s in disbelief.

Egg and Cheese microgreen sandwich:
Bread: Toast in toaster or Grill like a grilled cheese or just plain bread (but add butter to whichever method you choose). I use ‘“I Can’t Believe it’s not Butter” spray.
Egg: Fry one side (I use cooking spray), then just before flipping the egg, add as many microgreens on top of the egg as you’d like, then flip, cooking the other side with the microgreens.
Cheese: Add a slice of cheese on top of the microgreen “infused” egg while the second side is frying.
Place the microgreen “infused” cheesy egg between your two slices of bread.
Added touch: Add more microgreens before putting your top piece of bread on.
I’m so addicted to this sandwich! Can’t wait to try it with red cabbage greens!
Sounds great, if I may, consider switching to grass fed butter for less damaging ingredients and more omega-3s in your diet!

All your videos that I have watched are super helpful. I am not sure if you have already mentioned this from one of your videos - How many hours do we need to have the microgreens under the light? I searched in google and it says 12 to 14 hours. With your experience what is the sweet spot?

You have several lights listed as lights you recommend in your store. Do you still recommend the Barrina T5 20w lights or is that only if on a tight budget? Which lights are best?
Just about to grow some microgreens for the first time and trying to pick what I want to grow, so nice to see some recipes on how to use them. Always put sausage in last 😂 much easier to construct. Would make a better video to show 3-4 ways you use them all at once TV chef style. 🙂

Question .. Do you have a method to pre-sterilize seeds for mold spores? I have seen others do a 10 min presoak in a vinegar / peroxide solution as a way to try and kill it off some before soaking. Do you do anything like this? if so why or why not? Sunflowers are the bane of my existence at this point for the mold reason. I know it might be where i got them... but i want to rule out me before look elsewhere. Thanks in advance for ant response!
🙂 Heath I'm sorry you're having a rough time with SunFlowers...we love them a lot. We do a misting during the germination phase...that mist does include H2O2...helps a lot to watch air circulation. Happy Easter 2021!!!

Trying to find the protective sheath for the knife - didn't see it anywhere online. Would you share where you got that? I have the knife but I'm so clumsy, a protective sheath will be very worth it for me! ty!
Well, the one in the video is a protective cover CJ made. Since then, though we have considered a protective sheath for our merchandise, but haven't completed that plan as yet!
Getting ready to start next week doing microgreens for first time, ive got radish, spicy lettuce, and broccoli seeds from Trueleaf but I can use regular seeds...right? Like spinach or cabbage or carrots or onions right?
Yeah, absolutely!
Yes but please remember store bought package seeds will greatly increase cost of the tray. Ok for test run or two but in the long run store bought seeds are a money pit vs yield.

If you look at true leaf market website they have how many days most seeds take and you can try and pick a few that you like that take similar times. That was my predicament so I'm awaiting more seeds with similar germ/harvest times. If you come across any combination please feel free to share and I'll do the same😉 happy growing

Can you grow in Peat moss instead of coca coir?
Yes you can! There is some controversy over whether or not it is sustainable to use it, but it does work as a grow medium for Microgreens!
